Discover Noaillan with the Municipal Youth Council! On the initiative of the Municipal Youth Council, the heritage trail was inaugurated on 17 November 2018. You leave from the site of Antonion on the edge of Ciron, you go up the Ciron river to discover the castle of Noaillan, the church, the children's forest, the Dubernet estate, the wash-house. This 2 hour walk along the water will make you discover the heritage of Noaillan. On the route, you will discover QR-Codes that you can flash with your smartphone to access additional information. This route is accessible to everyone, even children.

For children aged 6 to 12, accompanied by their parents. "Sur les Pistes de Robin" (On Robin's Tracks) allows children to discover the historical heritage of the village of Uzeste with the help of a document containing amusing questions, riddles and charades. This walk takes you in the footsteps of the Gascon Pope Clement V. You will then walk through pine and fern forests until you discover beautiful lagoons and the inevitable Ciron. If you are lucky, wild animals, roe deer or hares may surprise you during your walk!

This route leads you from the village, through the neighborhoods and into the forest to an observation point where you can watch the grey cranes during their stay in the Landes de Gascogne (from November to February).

This itinerary allows you to approach the secret and magical environment of the "lagoons", small circular bodies of water of glacial origin. Around the Gât Mort, the forest opens up onto an area of open moorland vast enough to evoke the landscapes of centuries past. The nearby water table allows some of these lagoons to maintain a small water level throughout the year, but not exceeding one metre. The route, marked out by a few observatories, allows an overall reading of the vegetation.

The golden wine flows in the Sauternes region, known worldwide for its famous sweet white wines. The Sauternes region is crossed by the Ciron. This modest tributary from the Landes region is essential to the development of botrytis cinerea, which, in autumn, creates the great sweet wines, described by Mauriac as "an exaggeration of the exquisite". The Sauternes region is a gentle place to discover, rich in a thousand details, with its omnipresent stone walls revealing the abundance of limestone on the ground. Founded in the eighteenth century, Château La Tour Blanche is a 40 hectares estate located in the commune of Bommes. The last owner, Daniel "Osiris" Iffla, left the chateau to the French state, on the condition that a Wine School was set up offering free practical experience.

Château Guiraud takes its name from a Bordeaux negociant, Pierre Guiraud, who purchased the estate in 1766. Included among the first growths in the 1855 classification, Château Guiraud has more than a hundred hectares of vines. This magnificent property is well-known for their natural approach to viticulture. This entailed building an insect hotel, planting five kilometers of hedges, developing genetic diversity, studying and propagating vines in a conservatory, etc. Château Guiraud is currently the only first growth in the 1855 classification to be officially certified for organic viticulture. The estate’s ecological orientation helps to produce great wines with a strong personality and tremendous finesse. Château Guiraud is profound and well-focuses with fruity and mineral flavours of extreme freshness.

Saint-Léger-de-Balson is known for its pilgrimage in honour of Saint Clair, which took place every year in the Saint-Léger church. The church has a Romanesque chevet and a façade with a bell tower. A large porch has long served to welcome the crowds during the pilgrimage.

This 12th century church, rebuilt in the 16th century, contains wall paintings depicting the work of the seasons, a harvester, a grape-picker and the killing of the pig. The altar is decorated with an antependium, a painted canvas from the 18th century. The painting of the altarpiece representing Saint Clair is from the 19th century.

To the right of the church of Saint-Léger de Balson, a small path runs through the woods; below on your right is the Saint-Clair fountain, once an important place of pilgrimage, especially in the Middle Ages. Its waters were reputed to heal the eyes and although the pilgrimage is much less important today, many people still make the detour by this spring.

This Gothic church dates from the end of the 16th century. The keystones of the vaults are decorated with characters including Saint Anthony Ermine and Saint Catherine of Alexandria.

David Boeno invites you to a walk in the park, punctuated by 7 tree trunks cut according to cutting angles obtained from the calculation of the elliptical trajectory of 7 comets. A bevelled mirror, like a precious and sparkling object, is embedded in the heart of each section. On each mirror is engraved the name of the comet and the date of its future passage through perihelion, the point in the orbit closest to the Sun that causes the comet to cloud and make its hair highly incandescent. This confrontation of the present moment and the echo of a future coming from a sidereal distance, the constraint of an earthly life and the inaccessible depths of time and space, composes a consciousness of the world where the infinite threads of prospective geometries intertwine.

This Romanesque church was built in the 13th century and partially rebuilt in the 18th century. Murals from the 14th century depict scenes from the life of Saint Peter and Saint Paul and the martyrdom of Stephen.

This rather complex edifice is composed of a primitive nucleus, chevet and central nave from the 11th century, enlarged in the 12th century by aisles and absidioles. In the 14th century the bell tower was built, then in the 16th century a new aisle was built on the north side. Thick pilasters support a gabled bell tower.
