Here you can see a shady garden of ferns, mosses, driftwood… Specialist garden ceramists, the workshop’s output are on show here.

Donville Manor was the site of extremely violent fighting between German and American soldiers from 12 to 17 June 1944. Many relics have remained buried in the ground or were hidden in homes for over 65 years. Come discover the remains of material left by the soldiers on both sides and the testimony of civilians who survived the battle. A step back in time never presented so far.

Notre-Dame Church was built in the 11th century and is a listed building. All that remains from the Norman period is the west gate, the lower part of the pillars, the four main pillars of the transept crossing and the Romanesque arches. The church holds a beautiful collection of recently restored paintings from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Notre-Dame’s great organ began a new life in 1990. Listed as a national monument for its case and pipes, it was recently restored in the classical style of the late 17th century.

The outbuildings of Fresne Manor House have been converted into a cosy little gite for 2, on two levels. Unwind in the peaceful landscaped setting of the communal garden. There is a green way (voie verte) very close, where you can enjoy a walk or a bike ride, in the Regional Natural Park of Cotentin. The porch at the end of the gite is at your disposal to park your vehicle. B&B on site.
