The route alternates between nature views and a plunge into history. It leads to evoke the creation of villages in the Southwest during the economic boom of the 12th-13th centuries. These foundations continued in the 14th century: Rébénacq is one of the last bastides of Aquitaine.

This short loop allows you to gain height with little or no effort! Punctuated by beautiful views of the village of Rébénacq, the foothills of the Pyrenees, the foothills and the plain to the north, it can be combined with the more urban "La Bastide" circuit (2.2 km). These two routes will give you an idea of the variety and richness of Rebenacq's heritage.

This panoramic loop at the gateway to the Ossau valley has all the ingredients for a complete tour. From a heritage point of view, several villages will be visited on this land occupied by man since the dawn of time, criss-crossed by ancestral roads and nourished by the healing waters of the Gave d'Ossau. Typical Béarn houses, manor houses, castles, churches, dolmens, wash-houses and viewpoints follow one another as you explore the villages and hamlets. So many invitations to pause and observe. If you're a sporty type, you're in for an invigorating loop, as the trail weaves its way from one valley to the next in search of new discoveries: it climbs ancient moraines, and here and there scours promising back roads. The climbs are one after the other, but the ever-changing scenery will soon make you forget how demanding some of the bumps can be.

This easy loop invites you to discover the moraine of the ancient Ossau glacier between the villages of Bescat and Sévignacq. It is particularly enjoyable in warm weather, as most of the route is through undergrowth. There are several viewpoints along the way, notably over the plain at the top of the fern grove.

Lys is a small village in the heart of the Ossalois piedmont. Its name comes from the Gascon word "lo lis" which means flat land. This family route, ideal for a sunny half-day, leads from the village to the hills above. It offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding foothills and the first foothills of the Ossau valley.

The first sections of the Ossau Valley greenway/bike route have been completed. It will eventually link Buzy to Eaux-Bonnes and will cross 9 municipalities. To date, 13 km of cycle route (Buzy/Bielle and Geteu/Laruns station sections) with rest areas equipped with multifunctional bicycle terminals. A very easy bike ride at the foot of the mountains, at the entrance of the green Ossau valley, on a greenway that took over from an old railroad. It has a bucolic landscape dimension on the edge of the powerful river Gave that comes down from the mountains, but also a heritage dimension.

This beautiful loop follows the signposted "Tour du Dolmen" trail, with an extension from the station. It allows you to discover the Béarn countryside surrounded by the foothills of the Pyrenees. Away from the beaten track, it has a few surprises in store: it passes through 2 remarkable villages, a dolmen - the largest in the département - and a section of the Chemin du Piémont Pyrénéen, following in the footsteps of pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. This route is proposed by the Comité Régional de Randonnée Pédestre. Departing from a train station or TER bus stop, it allows you to join a walking or hiking itinerary, and take a stroll in ecomobility!

Located in Sévignacq-Meyracq, 27 kms from Pau and 15 kms from Laruns, the Lanouté farm is specialized in the breeding of 400 Basque-Béarnaise ewes and 12 Alpine brown dairy cows All the milk is produced on the farm and transformed into farm cheese made from pure ewe's milk, cow's milk, mixed milk and greuil.
