Situated in the heart of the village of Pontmain, close to the basilica, its arboretum and a magnificent forest, your host Martine offers you the comfortable and modern flat "Auprès de mon arbre" on the first and top floor of a local stone house. The main attraction of the Saint-Gervais Basilica is the famous Saint Aubert relic. It is the centre of an extensive display of fine metal work (relicaries, vessels and liturgical accessories), religious clothing and a collection of wooden and stone sculptures. The castle was built around 950 by “Onfroi Le Dane” on the remains of the old Roman site. A succession of enclosures and moats were added. From the keep at the heart of the various districts of Avranches, you can view the panorama over the Bay and the Sée valley.

A narrow, paved street leads to the courtyard of the house where Bergevin (a 19th century painter from Avranches) lived. Built in 1773, this house currently accommodates the town heritage department. The remarkable staircase of the paved courtyard leads to the top of the curtain wall, converted into a dungeon in the 19th century, which offers a magnificent panorama over the town roofs and the Mont Saint-Michel.

The Vincent Pichon cider house is located in Normandy, where the tradition of cider-making is still alive and well, and the orchards benefit from the temperate climate of the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel. Vincent Pichon is a cider apple grower and cider-maker, offering his cider products such as cider, Calvados, Pommeau de Normandie, Calvados spirits and apple juice. The Vincent Pichon cider house is certified "High Environmental Value".

The reputation of the Avranches Garden is largely based on its privileged location. This suspended lookout point between heaven and earth in which one takes the immense bay of Mont Saint-Michel with a single glance, inspired various 19th century writers among whom the most famous are Guy de Maupassant, Victor Hugo or Stendhal. In 2005, as part of the Grand site du Mont Saint-Michel operation, a vast rehabilitation project began. The landscape architects remodelled the park to give it back its vocation as a garden of plants by designing 12 different areas ranging from the garden of camelias, rhododendrons, to maples area975, including the cherry blossom meadow and the School of fruits. The garden is accessible to people with reduced mobility. With signage suitable to lovers of botany and youngsters alike, convivial space and playground, the visitor will find there a lively place for everyone.
