This gite consists of a spacious living/dining room with a fully equipped open kitchen (oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster). In the heart of the Mayenne bocage, in a hilly landscape, you will appreciate this pleasant 18th-century farmhouse surrounded by a private, fully enclosed landscaped garden. La Closerie de la Vergée features large rooms: a living room with wood-burning stove (32m²), 3 bedrooms (15 to 22m²), 5 beds in total (2x140 and 3*90). The kitchen is fully equipped. The Renaudies garden at Colombier du Plessis is a must-see, with its English-inspired garden, eco-museum and ephemeral maze in summer (12km). Discover the Marian city of Pontmain, a major pilgrimage site in the west of France since the apparition of Mary in 1871. From the gîte, escape to Mont Saint Michel, just an hour and 15 minutes away by car. Professional stay: 5 people maximum (5 beds and 3 bedrooms) - Cleaning compulsory 1 per stay from 1 to 14 nights. Weekend stay: from Friday 4pm to Sunday 4pm (to be agreed with the owner). Weekly stay: arrival from 4pm and departure at 10am.

Already listed as 20th century historic heritage in May 2009, Vire’s Town Hall has just been listed as a historic monument. Destroyed during the 1944 bombings, the council building was rebuilt and inaugurated in 1956 by Guy Mollet, President of the Council of Ministers. This modern building was edified according to plans drafted by the architects David and Herpe. It is characteristic of post-war architecture, influenced by work by Le Corbusier.

In 1862, two people from Vienna joined forces to create the House of Roger&Gallet. Perfume is no longer just a means of fighting miasmas and bad smells, it is also a matter of hygiene, a social marker and well-being. Art and industry, health and beauty, nature and chemistry, perfume is at the crossroads of many fields. Constructed during the XIIIth Century, based on an XIIth Century Romanesque chapel of early gothic style, it was extended in different styles until the XVIth Century: which saw the raising of the flamboyant gothic chancel, the workmanship of Merveille of Mont-Saint-Michel. It was restored in 1948 after the bombings of the 6th June 1944.

Built in the 12th Century, the keep was dismantled following orders from Richelieu... Along with its counterparts in Falaise, Chambois and Domfront, it is a fine example of a typically Norman square keep.

You are sure to appreciate the calm and tranquillity of this natural setting with pond and landscaped garden. The tepee is available for total or partial rental for one or several guests.
