The "Sentier la Font du Loup" trail offers a 12.5 km walk in the heart of the Basse Marche region of Haute-Vienne. You'll discover the villages of Bouchage and Chez Nadaud. You'll discover new horizons in the Limousin, based on authenticity, calm and relaxation.

The "petit tour" circuit is an ideal way for families to discover the countryside and the town of Bussière Poitevine. Two other walks depart from Bussière-Poitevine: the Chemin des Moulins (11 km) and the Sentier de la Dame Blanche (7.5 km).

Just 20 minutes from Confolens, a renowned world dance and music festival, and 20 minutes from Mortemart, one of France's most beautiful villages, at the junction of the Vienne, Charente and Haute-Vienne departments, on an 80-hectare estate of meadows and woods where sheep are raised, the totally independent house, located on the farm, opens onto an enclosed lawn at the rear. A path passes close to the gîte and provides a beautiful walk on the property where deer and hinds have also made their home, and it's not uncommon to observe or hear them from the gîte.

The Gîte is a detached house with a fully enclosed garden, terrace and bike/motorcycle storage. This 7-hectare lake is ideal for carp, tench, roach and pike. A maximum of 3 lines per angler is allowed, with casting counting as 1 line, and a maximum of 1 line for children under 12. Boat fishing is prohibited. Fishing cards are on sale at the Saint Barbant town hall, at the Bussière Poitevine grocery store "Le Panier Sympa" (13 place Adrien Girette), and at the Mézières sur Issoire grocery store "Alimentation Marchoise" (31 place de la République).

The natural site of the "Rochers de l'Isop", with its singular relief, is a protected natural site. This picturesque site lies at the heart of the Isop valley, at the foot of the villages of Saint-Barbant and Saint-Martial-sur-Isop. The most spectacular group is known as "Chez Favard", offering an impressive spectacle in terms of the number and size of the rocks through which the Isop stream peacefully flows. Although spectacular, this area does not seem to have inspired any legends; only one real event is still remembered by the locals. During the 1870 war, a Prussian deserter is said to have taken refuge in one of these rocky heaps and, using huge, massive boulders, built a sort of cave, the entrance to which can still be seen.
