This loop first takes in circuit n°7 (Les Bois de Sainte-Feyre) and then circuit n°6 (Le Puy de Gaudy). Of the 27 km that make up this trail, only the very first few kilometers are really relaxing... Indeed, after the village of Peyrabout, the circuit becomes a rollercoaster, taking you through beech and fir forests, as well as more open spaces in the Guérande countryside. The trails are varied: tracks, sunken lanes, streams, with the total percentage of road not exceeding 9%. In many places, the view over the east of the Creuse department, and even beyond, is unobstructed. This is certainly a good opportunity to catch your breath. At the end of a fourth steep climb, you'll find your vehicle near the "Loups de Chabrières".

It was in this wood, near the communes of Sardent and Maisonnisses, that on September 7, 1943, seven young maquisards fell to German bullets. A walk through the woods between the granite chaos evokes the creation of this maquis by young Creusois and its brutal and violent end, which made it a symbol.

The church is the only vestige of the former hospital commandery. It houses an enigmatic recumbent statue and hides a beautiful crypt, home to a small bat. Free admission all year round.

The shock of frescoes. On the outside, the little 19th-century church is totally unremarkable. And even, let's face it, uninteresting. But once you've pushed open the door? the shock is powerful. From wall to ceiling, immense frescoes in primary colors depict biblical scenes: the Crucifixion, the Nativity, the Old and New Testaments? Scenes in symbolic colors echoed in the stained glass windows. Created between 1986 and 1995 by Gabriel Chabrat, a local painter, these paintings lend a rare power to the place, making it a timeless space conducive to reflection. Free admission all year round.

It is said that near Reillat, there was a fountain known as Font-aux-Sauniers or Font des Faux Sauniers. It is said to have been a meeting point for smugglers engaged in the salt trade. A path along the road leading to the village leads to the fountain, which is enclosed in a low retaining wall and feeds a reconstructed drinking trough. Continuing along the low-walled path up to the village of Reillat, a cross was rebuilt in 2001 by local sculptor Jean Estaque. The sculpture, carved from wood, was placed on the existing base. A Pierre des Morts (Stone of the Dead), carved with a cross, rests in front of the new structure.

A pathway, lined with dry-laid stones, leads to a fountain, whose cover bears the date 1889. The circular base is certainly older. The fishery provided a supply of fish and was also used for washing clothes, as seven flat stones are positioned at the end of the pond.
