Hiking trail "La Croix del fût". The village is situated in a granite country, with meadows and crops alternating with wooded areas. In the hamlets of Belaubre and Enfour, you will discover the traditional habitat with its red-tiled houses, with outside staircases leading to the wooden balcony facing south, topped by the plancadou where corn and chestnuts used to dry. On arrival, you will walk along the pond where the legend of the village bells still hangs in the air, on which, one mysterious day, the waters closed in. In the village, don't miss the modern church of St.Teresa, a place of contemporary sacred art with magnificent stained glass windows. Mountain bike route "Tour in the Ségala". The paper version of the hiking map is available from our Information Points for €0.50. In the heart of the Châtaigneraie Cantalienne, you'll discover all the geographical and morphological diversity of the area. Between the granite reliefs, views of the Le Rouget and the Mounts of Cantal on the first part of the route, the unspoilt nature and Natura 2000® designation around the pretty village of Roumégoux and the more forested areas around Glénat a little further along the route, finishing on a section dominated by the south-western part of Lake Saint-Étienne-Cantalès. Departures: Le Rouget (Pond Moulin du Teil), Roumégoux (Rue Saint-Géraud) or La Ségalassière (Rue du Ségala).

Mountain bike route "Barns and mills". The paper version of the hiking map is available from our Information Points for €0.50. This lovely, mainly woodland route allows you to enjoy the vast areas of countryside near the village of Siran. Starting from the Place de l'Église, you will discover a beautiful Cantal heritage of barns and old mills, before venturing into varied and more remote areas of Siran's vast forests. This is a pleasant route for beginners, with a rural and bucolic atmosphere and shaded areas in the countryside. A rolling loop for the whole family.

Hiking trail "des Fraulières". The village of Pers is located on the banks of Saint-Étienne-Cantalès Lake, a 562 ha reservoir. Through this path you will enter the domain of Jean des Fraulières, an old charcoal maker who supplied charcoal to all the surrounding communes of the lake. Along the way, you will discover a millstone, a fountain and a hut, all of which bear witness to the charcoal-making activity. You will also see the Ribeyrès Viaduct. The village of Saint-Saury, whose name is hidden behind that of its church, will delight lovers of megalithic mysteries, stories of the Resistance, well-hidden Romanesque treasures and beautiful visible trout!

The Roc Rôti is a megalithic complex whose menhir-like shape suggests that it was a place dedicated to Gallic worship. Also worth seeing in the direction of Sousceyrac: the Escalmels Chapel, the Luzette Memorial (in memory of the Resistance fighters of the Chénier field, a parachuting site during World War II).

We're not talking about "galloping" demography yet, but it's clear that Parlan attracts many new inhabitants. Visitors, for their part, would be wrong to gallop along the village's 23 km of trails, so attractive is the surrounding countryside.

Ruins of the estate of Naucaze built from the 12th to the 17th century. The castle is currently being restored. It still has a 12th century tower which is the oldest architectural element. Looted and burnt down in 1792, and visible from road D133.

Guided tour of the Sanctuary: you enter each enclosure, unique to the Cantal region, and you'll be able to get up close and personal the animals, discovering them and petting them if they wish because this is their home and we owe them our respect. You can bring pieces of carrot, but above all, no bread. The sanctuary is home to goats, pigs and ponies, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs and peacocks.

The church of Notre-Dame-de-Quézac, the magnificent decoration of which (half paintings, half marouflages) dates back to 1925, is home to one of the most famous Marian shrines in the Massif Central.

The pond of Moulin du Teil in Le Rouget has a children’s playground, picnic tables and barbecues, a fitness trail, etc. The tour can be done on foot (1.7 km) and two hiking trails leave from the lake (Lascombes-Basses, 6 km + Circuit du Lac, 10 km), as well as a mountain bike trail (Ronde en Ségala, 27,6 km). The Church of Saint Thérèse is a contemporary religious art place with stunning stained glass windows. The first stone of the church of St.Thérèse was laid in 1959, and the church was solemnly consecrated in 1962. Built in beautiful blue granite, it is modern while retaining an Auvergne style with a large bell tower. It has magnificent stained glass windows inspired by the language of flowers, created by the local artist Jean Labellie. Stained glass windows by the same artist are to be admired in the church of Saint Anne in Cayrols.
