Mais attention, côté Pas-de-Calais, cette véloroute s’adresse plutôt aux cyclos aguerris : vous roulez sur des routes communales et départementales. Vous rejoignez une voie verte à Saulty. Ce tronçon de la V32 suit principalement de petites routes de campagne, avec pas mal de relief par endroits – idéal pour les cyclosportifs ou les voyageurs à vélo qui aiment pédaler fort et qui ne sont pas effrayés par une côte ou deux. Ce qui fait le charme de cette véloroute, c’est le mélange entre paysages naturels et mémoire collective. À noter : ce n’est pas une voie verte, donc mieux vaut éviter d'emmener de jeunes enfants ou si on débute à vélo. mais, pour une sortie sportive avec un vrai sens historique, c’est une belle option. A special place, assembling a collection of objects associated with the famous French composer in the house where he was born: Claude Debussy's birthplace is located in the historic quarter of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. After the composer's death in 1918, it soon became the main gathering place of his many admirers. This little gem awaits you on the Ile des Impressionnistes in Chatou : visit the workshops of the Sequana association ! In addition to the visit of the worshop, short cruises aboard the electric-powered boat "Chloé" are possible in spring and summer. Sequana restores and sometimes buids replicas of the boats used during the boating era: yoles, 'périssoires' (a type of dinghy), canoes and sailing boats. The association also does historical research and takes part in various nautical events and festivals. In Spring and Summer, Chloé, an electric boat, accepts 9 passengers in addition to the pilot and the sailor for a guided tour on the Seine. In times of Covid, cruises are limited to 6 people or 9 if they belong to the same family.

The Lambotte Flour Mill, located in the heart of Aumale - a town of Dukes and mills - foreshadowed the development of the Great French Mills, which would start to develop as from 1913. In Seine- Maritime, this mill has been listed a Historic Monument since the 28th May 2004. It deserves such a protection for various reasons: for the quality of its construction and the perfect state of conservation of the building, but even more for the presence of exceptional fixtures and equipment that makes it an exceptional example of the last technological revolution of the French milling industry.

Located in Saint-Léger-aux-Bois, the Mailly Tower is a tower with thick walls made of sandstone, brick and flint, with machicolations and a pepperpot roof. It is partly covered by an ivy which gives it the air of being out of time. We notice a pretty little house that has been built on top of it. A historical plaque in English and French is fixed on the brick of the tower. It indicates that a castle was built there in the 16th century by the families of Bailleul and Mailly, lords of Saint-Leger-aux-Bois. The last lord who lived there died in 1794, guillotined during the Revolution and his castle destroyed and burned down. It has three levels with a remarkable stone spiral staircase. The slate roof rests on an imposing traditional oak frame. Marie Stuart, Queen of Scotland, even spent a night there as a prisoner!
