This FFC-approved circuit takes you from Le Dorat and its Romanesque collegiate church to Dinsac, Magnac-Laval, Saint Ouen sur Gartempe, La Croix sur Gartempe and Saint Sornin la Marche to discover the little roads of the Basse Marche in the Gartempe valley.

From Le Dorat, and more precisely from the square on which its majestic Romanesque collegiate church stands, follow the course of the Brame to discover the villages of Oradour Saint Genest and Thiat, and pass close by the Saut de la Brame nature reserve. This FFC-approved circuit then takes you along the Gartempe to the outskirts of Lathus Saint Rémy, before descending to Adriers, then Saint Bonnet de Bellac, la Croix sur Gartempe, Saint Ouen sur Gartempe before returning to Le Dorat, at the foot of its collegiate church.

The 9.4 km route from Magnac-Laval to Luchapt (in the commune of Droux) via Le Dorat is the first section of the Voie Verte du Haut Limousin. This route in the heart of the Limousin countryside is suitable for all types of soft mobility, including walking, cycling and horse-riding. Its surface enables a wide range of people to enjoy a safe walk. It's just as suitable for sports enthusiasts and hikers as it is for families with children in baby carriages, the mobility-impaired and the elderly. This section is also part of the d'Artagnan equestrian route, well known to horse riders.

You can enjoy beautiful views of the Gartempe valley, the Chôme water dam and the viewpoint. Horse lovers will enjoy the nearby Hippodrome Le Dorat-Saint-Ouen-sur-Gartempe.

This 9 km circuit offers a walk in the countryside of Saint-Ouen-sur-Gartempe in the Haute-Vienne region of northern Limousin. Worth seeing: a stele in the Mounisme cemetery.

The "le bredet do cro do loup" trail is a 15 km circuit through the commune of Saint-Ouen-sur-Gartempe in Haute-Vienne. You'll enjoy lovely views over the Gartempe valley.

This family-friendly tour, approved by the French Cycling Federation, takes you from Magnac-Laval to Villefavard, with its Protestant temple and model farmhouse turned cultural venue for music creation and concerts, then on to Droux along the Semme valley.

The gîte's garden opens onto the countryside, with occasional visits from beautiful limousines in the next field! The collegiate church of Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens (XII?-XIII?) is the largest collegiate church in central France. Fortified in the 15th century at the same time as the town of Le Dorat, the collegiate church houses the relics of Saint-Israel and Saint-Theobald, celebrated during the septennial Ostensions (U.N.E.S.C.O). To discover: Sainte-Anne crypt, lantern tower topped by the 12th-century golden angel, Notre Dame tower, St-Pierre portal. The Porte Bergère is the only fortified gate in Haute-Vienne. Dating from the 15th century, it is known as the "Bergère" gateway, no doubt due to the herdswomen who once used it. It is located to the west of the ramparts, on the most inaccessible side of the hillside, and still retains its defensive systems.

In the village of La Petite Cité de Caractère, the former 19th-century Notre Dame du Temple chapel has been converted into a cultural venue, regularly hosting exhibitions and events. The original paintings, stained glass and furniture are still visible.

Easily accessible, the leisure runs benefit from 3 rainbow trout releases a year by the federation. These sites, broken down on site, enable young and old alike to enjoy their favorite pastime (please note that fishing is closed during releases). In the area of the Thiat-Oradour-Saint-Genest and Le Dorat AAPPMAs, the course stretches over 3.3 km along the Brame (2nd category for fish). Fishing with spoons, lures, livebait and dead fish prohibited until the opening of the pike season). Location: communes of Oradour-Saint-Genest and Le Dorat, from the D4 bis bridge (upstream limit) to the D91 bridge (downstream limit).
