This hike is the second stage of an 8-day, 220-km circuit, the Tour des Collines du Perche. During this second stage, you will gradually leave the Vallée de l’Huisne and enter the forest area with its foothills, coming out at Bretoncelles before going back in and then reaching the village of Moutiers-au-Perche, which is nestled in the Vallée de la Corbionne.

The Chicaudière gite, located on the borders of Anjou and Touraine, overlooks the Maulne valley in a verdant setting of absolute peace and quiet. The gite is housed in the outbuildings of a 16th-century manor house. We welcome family groups all year round on a self-catering basis. The GR 36 is nearby and there are many sites to visit in the surrounding area.

This contemporary air-conditioned yurt (the first of its kind in the Pays de la Loire region), located in Chigné, is an ideal holiday destination for families or friends. Your stay will be the perfect opportunity to discover the local treasures: La Flèche zoo 20 minutes away, Château du Lude 10 minutes away, Baugé (with its apothecary and château) 20 minutes away, Saumur (with its château, famous "Cadre Noir" and numerous wine appellations) 40 minutes away and Angers and Le Mans (with its 24 hours of Le Mans) 1 hour away. The yurt opens onto a dining room with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (hob, microwave, dishwasher, etc.) and a lounge. 2 bedrooms are available: the first with a 140 cm x 200 cm bed and the second with 2 90 cm x 200 cm bunk beds. Shower room with hydromassage shower and separate WC. Terrace with garden furniture in front of the yurt. The outside will delight young and old alike! Relaxation chalet with sofa, TV, table football, darts, summer kitchen with second fridge, gas griddle and second set of garden furniture. A private SPA is available as an optional extra: €6 per hour per person. Children's play equipment: swing, sandpit, slide and even a homemade cocoon for the little ones to nestle in! Another open-plan chalet with a lounge area is ideal for sheltering from the sun while enjoying the view outside! Between Le Lude and Noyant Villages, come and stay in this 130m² gîte, located in a renovated former blacksmith's shop. On the borders of Maine-et-Loire, close to Sarthe and Indre-et-Loire, you'll be 20 minutes from La Flèche zoo and 20 minutes from Baugé, where you can visit the château and the Apothicairerie. This holiday rental has a large 70 m² living room with a sitting room, wood-burning stove, large dining area and fully-equipped kitchen (Airfryer). The ground floor also has a shower room and separate toilet. Upstairs, a landing leads to a first bedroom of 14m² with a 140cm double bed, a shower room with wc and a large bedroom of 55m² on the ground floor (35m² at a height of 1m80) with 1 150cm bed and 4 90cm beds. The owners, who live on site, give you free access to the 7-hectare property, which is perfect for children's walks. Take your walk as far as the private pond. As you leave the gîte, along the D86, you'll come to a terrace with garden furniture. Near the gîte, in an area shaded by trees, there are games for children, as well as a petanque area. The large henhouse is accessible to those who wish to feed the chickens. The gîte can accommodate up to 8 people on request, thanks to the second bedroom and its large number of beds. You are 40 minutes from Saumur, 50 minutes from Tours and 1 hour from Angers and Le Mans. From the gîte, you can walk 900m along the main road to the GR 36. Alain Vernholes has a story to tell about each of the 500 trees he has planted on his Boiscordes property in Rémalard: from the fruit of the service tree that has to be digested by birds in order to germinate, to the cross-fertilisation of two varieties of elms to create a hybrid resistant to the Dutch Elm Disease which decimated the entire European population of elms, to how he managed to bring back seeds and young plants from his travels in the Americas, Asia and throughout Europe. Take a tour guided by Alain Vernholes and enjoy the glorious autumn colours in his arboretum.

Located in the Perche Regional Nature Park, we invite you to discover our Andalusian donkey farm. Educational presentation of donkeys: their characteristics, origins, different breeds, and uses. Visits are by appointment only and limited to a maximum of 5 people.

In an authentic Percheron setting, and after a warm welcome near the mill, set off with Michel to meet a dozen or so horses of all ages, while you listen to the stories of a genuine Perche "breeder". Michel is always happy to share his expert knowledge and you can't help but feel his passion…

In a contemporary building bearing the French High Quality Environmental Standard label, come and taste our cider, apple juice, Pommeau and Calvados. Manoir de la Gauberdière: 1494 - 1505 The Manoir de la GAUBERDIERE is a typical late-15th century Norman manor of the Perche area. Attached to the right hand side of the building is a bread oven and bakery. The outbuildings opposite date from the same time. To the left of the Manoir, the chapel dating from around 1540 is typically renaissance. Free entry to the grounds, the chapel (including the interior) the outbuildings, the great hall and the bakery. Visitors receive a tour leaflet and there are information boards around the site.

The Estate has an interest of art and history because of its typical evolution of a large land area in the Perche from the 17th to the 19th century. Few castles in the Perche can be proud of the signing of many architects and landscape renowned as Lonné.
