This tour takes you along the pretty banks of the Vienne to the Moulin du Got, a veritable place of memory and conservation of the Vienne valley's paper-making industry. You're also close to Saint-Léonard de Noblat and its famous Romanesque collegiate church, listed as an intangible heritage site by Santiago de Compostela.

Go through the meadow and go to the far left.Continue on this path between the railway track and the Vienne. When you arrive at the Le Got mill, go under the railway track by taking the tunnel, to reach the entrance of the building. Or go to the level crossing, cross over, and take the road to the left to reach the mill.Follow the road in the opposite direction to return to Brignac station.

Discover the banks of the Auzette with its flora and fauna, stone bridges and the Bois des Biches farm. Departure from the Parc des Sports parking lot in Morpiénas, just a short distance from the town center. This trail is accessible to all. Very pleasant in hot weather, as most of the trail is in the shade.

Royères is located near Saint-Léonard de Noblat in the Monts et Barrages art and history region. You'll pass through typical Haute-Vienne villages such as La Mazière and Caux. Admire the collegiate church of Saint-Léonard de Noblat, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Aureil is located 20 minutes south of Limoges. At the start of your walk, the 11th-century church has a rooster at the top of its steeple. The "sentier des murets" is not particularly difficult. At 3.5km, it's an ideal walk for families. The trail follows the small dry-stone walls typical of our region.

The Parc du Mazeau is a very pleasant place to take a picnic break, just a stone's throw from the town center with its shops and rich religious heritage, including the processional reliquary cross in the church. The Château de Bort is also a magical place with a superbly landscaped park!

The 12th-century church, dedicated to Saint Priest, bishop of Clermont, was rebuilt in 1490, probably following an earthquake that also affected Saint-Léger-la-Montagne, Ambazac and Saint-Sylvestre. It was completely renovated in 1993. The church houses a processional reliquary cross (enamelled, with double crossbeam, flowered ends and dragons on the foot) dating from the mid-13th century, one of the treasures of Grandmont Abbey. The church also features remarkable stained-glass windows by master stained-glass artist Francis Chigot.

Twenty years after the inauguration of the Paris-Limoges route, the Limoges-Eymoutiers line was put into service in 1881 following a construction project that involved more than 1500 workers. Brignac station in Royères was used to transport wood (previously floated along the Vienne), stones, tiles and bricks and food and fertilisers. Today, the line still carries passengers. The station building is now private property that cannot be visited.

Moreau, now deceased, left his garden of over 300 sculptures open to the public on the banks of the Taurion. Horseshoes, hip prostheses, bicycle chains, cutlery, keys? are all diverted to serve the passion of this man inspired by Dali, Cocteau? but also by owls, his emblem. Erotic, mysterious, slightly provocative or committed (Jean-Pierre knew Cabus and Wolinski), some sculptures are also a sign of tolerance between religions. Others are skilfully staged, dividing the garden into small universes such as the one near the mill with Don Quichottes and exceptional fauna (herons, dinosaurs, snails). Jean-Pierre's wife Michelle is always happy to welcome visitors.
