A short walk that allows you to discover the charming village of Azérables and its green setting.

You pass by the pond, but don't stray too far from it. It's pleasant to do on easy trails, and the southern part leads to some lovely sunken paths.

A bumpy, hollowed-out route that requires a bit of stamina. From the Etang de la Chaume, the route wanders through the Creuse bocage on rolling tracks and paths. The highlight is the 2 km downhill stretch on the Chemin du Marchat.

Don't be fooled by the peaceful landscape surrounding the Etang de la Chaume! From this very pleasant starting point, the route heads due south after a short excursion into the village of Azérables, and then takes in a succession of bumps and hollows - modest indeed, but numerous... The Chemin du Marchat, at the halfway point, is a non-stop, slightly downhill stretch of 2 km, very pleasant to do, with a beautiful view to boot. This trail is part of circuits 25 (black) and 23 (blue): triple signposting almost the entire length. Be extra-careful when crossing the D1, especially the second time around: some cars speed along. Please slow down a little when crossing the Villaugoueix, to avoid running into any farmyard animals that may be loitering on this narrow stretch of road...

Not far from Vareilles, this little circuit is a pleasant walk that only touches the wood in question. But it is quite possible to venture out and push on to the banks of the nearby Chaume pond.

Leaving Saint Sébastien, the 42 climbs due north. Between Labetoulle and Peugue?er, the path is specially laid out for walking along the Abloux stream. On the way back, you'll find bocage landscapes and a circuit that's not too strenuous.

The 41 can be started from either the railway station or the town of San Sebastián. It's even easier than the 40, although in wet weather you'll find some muddy patches on the west side of the circuit. If you're in good shape, why not take Nos. 40 and 41?

Spirulina flakes and tablets Spirulina is a microalgae that offers us an enormous food potential. I have been growing spirulina since 2019 in 2 basins of 100m2. The harvest is seasonal (from March to October) and takes place in several stages: filtration, pressing, shaping into "spaghetti", drying at low temperature to preserve all its virtues, then grinding to obtain the famous "flakes". Finally, I pack them (100g) in recyclable bags or biodegradable boxes. Once packaged, spirulina can be kept for 2 years. Our ewe flock is made up of mixed breed ewes, Thônes and Marthod and Bizet ewes, breeds with small numbers. In order to increase the biodiversity of our meadows and to limit parasites, our ewes are taken to rotational grazing. They spend between one and three days on fenced plots according to their needs, and return after a minimum of 30 days. Our lambs are grass-fed, they graze all their lives and are not familiar with pellets. Our animals are treated with plants, essential oils, homeopathy and osteopathy. We practice organic agriculture and respect the charter of the Federation Nature et Progrès, for our health and that of the Earth.

Pond of 5ha. You may find the following fish species: carp, tench, roach, perch, zander and pickerel, and some trouts at the beginning of the fishing period. Only angling is allowed, all kinds of lures are strictly forbidden. The fishing licenses are sold at the tobacconist's of Cromac (le bourg, 05 55 76 76 68) and at the tobacconist's of Saint Sulpice les Feuilles (3, rue du Commerce, 05 55 76 28 00). Prices: 5,50€ for half a day and 8,50€ for a day. The fishing period goes from the 25th of March to the 15th of October 2017 (afterwards the pond will be drained).

The river "Benaize" takes its source in the town of La Souterraine "and serves as the boundary between the Indre and Vienna. It stretches to form Lake Mondon (artificial lake 15ha). It will become more turbulent, crowded with huge rocks. The road will be closed by a combination rock leaving just a narrow corridor where the "Benaize" rolls and jumps on a vertical drop of about 2m, it rushes and spring training Pot Bouillant. One hundred metres below, on the other side lies the famous cave Martres.
