Following the GR364 from Lusignan to Poitiers, you'll discover a landscape of gentle valleys, criss-crossed by meandering streams and sometimes gorges, islands and ponds. The villages along the way combine these natural qualities with a rich architectural heritage of mansions, castles, churches and abbeys. Poitiers is well worth a visit, particularly for its cathedral. This route is proposed by the Comité Régional de Randonnée Pédestre. Departing from a train station or TER bus stop, it allows you to join a walking or hiking itinerary and take a stroll in ecomobility!

Following the GR655 from Lusignan to Poitiers, you'll discover a landscape of gentle valleys, criss-crossed by meandering streams and sometimes gorges, islands and ponds. The villages you pass through combine these natural riches with a rich architectural heritage of mansions, castles, churches and abbeys. Poitiers is well worth a visit, especially its cathedral. This route is proposed by the Comité Régional de Randonnée Pédestre. Departing from a train station or TER bus stop, it allows you to join a walking or hiking itinerary and take a stroll in ecomobility!

During this hike, discover the unique and ancestral heritage of Bougon and travel back in time to the polished stone age: the Neolithic era.

This route will lead you to the discovery of an old Cisterian abbey of the XIIIth century as well as the hillsides of the Dive, overhung by the Château St-Martin.

Discover Salles and its fauna and flora in the countryside. You will walk along the banks of the Pamproux river for a nature hike.

Vast oak forest of 800 ha, the state forest of Saint-Sauvant is managed sustainably by the Office National des Forêts: in addition to the production of timber and the protection of biodiversity, the reception of the public is part of the functions of the forest: several marked footpaths, remembrance trail (war of 39-45), equestrian and mountain bike circuit. The forest is crossed by the GR 364 joining the woods of the Grand Parc de Lusignan to those of Rom in the Deux-Sèvres. A discovery trail allows to enhance the family walk from the new reception area in the southern part of the forest. In the northern part, the pond trail allows you to discover a fauna and flora very characteristic of wetlands.

As a couple, with family or friends, discover the Mellois Country. On foot or by bike, explore the paths, lanes and paths. Our traditional stone house was once an old barn that has been completely restored. It is located in the heart of Chenay, a village of 478 inhabitants. After a day of walking, you can relax by the pool or enjoy the garden and settle down for a quiet reading session; unless you prefer to play a game of ping pong. Breakfast is served in the large room which has kept its authenticity, like the Poitevin farms of the past. You will also be able to taste our home-made jams and local specialties during breakfast.
