Marking: yellow ring 9km Pleasant hilly path in the forest of Deyvillers. After the kiosk, turn left onto the marked path (yellow disc) which leads to a small tarmac road. Turn left, then immediately right and follow the small tarmac road that goes slightly uphill. Following the marking (yellow disc), you’ll come to a gravel path that leads you into the forest. 800 m after entering it, you will see a pond on your right. Continue on the path and turn right along a fence. Take the footbridge over the St. Oger to reach a small tarmac road again. Turn left for 100 m, then turn right and follow a forest track which climbs gently without worrying about the tracks on the left. As the slope clearly steepens, turn right. The track crosses a clearing and leads 600 m further on to a tarmac road. Continue to the left to take the marked path (yellow disc) which enters the forest. After 300 m you will come to a crossroads. Continue straight on following the yellow disc. The path that goes alongside the Feigne Orientale wetland comes to a junction of 3 paths. Follow the path straight ahead for 60 m and turn right to take a footpath leading up to a gravelled forest track. By turning left, you reach a tarmac road which you follow for about 60 metres to turn left onto a path which leads to a crossroads. Turn right onto the tarmac road for 150 m, turn right onto a forest track and follow the yellow disc. After passing near a water tower, 30 m before crossing a barrier, take the path on the right which goes down to a health and botanical trail with tree signs. Go down following the yellow disc marking. At the edge of the forest, you will come to a small tarmac road that leads down to the town. At the road junction, turn right, then left just before the fountain. A paved path will lead you to a square, then to a footbridge. You will cross the Saint-Oger again to get back to your starting point.

Museum Gaspar is housed in the residence of the middle-class family Gaspar from Arlon who had set up in this house (1893) that was built in 1842. It was renovated in 2004. The two most famous members of this family are animal sculptor Jean-Marie Gaspar (1861-1931) and Charles Gaspar (1971-1950) who was a photographer and a sponsor. He gave his house to the town of Arlon on the condition they make a museum of it, dedicated to his brother's work and that put into honour the history and the heritage of Arlon. At the first floor, theree are two restored salons identical to a middle-class salon from the early 20th century that show Jean-Marie Gaspar's sculptures. and the art and picture collection of Charles Gaspar. The rest of the first floor is dedicated to temporary exhibitions of the museum that alternates artv and history. A religion room shows collections about the abbey of Orval and to the people's devotion at the 18th century, and also relics from the ancient Saint-Martin church. But the Masterpiece is the famous altarpiece Retable de Fisenne - a 16th century masterpiece from the Antwerp school. It was bought in 1893 by a middle-class family from Arlon, the family Gaspar. Jean Gaspar (1861-1931) was a sculptor. He was trained by the Antwerp sculptor Jef Lambeaux. His works are in bronze and in plaster and they are exhibited in the salons that have been restorated as they were in his house. His brother Charles (1871-1950) was a photographer, a collector and a sponsor. He gave this house to the town of Arlon. It hosts the library of the Archaeological Institute of the Belgian Province of Luxembourg and its secretary office since 1954. A wide part of the museum is also dedicated to temporary exhibitions about art and history of Arlon.

90 minutes to discover the most important medieval fortress in Lorraine. Come and discover the five centuries of history of the fortification. The meeting point is the Guyot d'Avilley Cultural Centre, located in the former Notre-Dame convent. This museum, located in the former Synagogue, features collections of folk arts from all over France. A selection of rare and characteristic objects, such as earthenware, boissellerie creations (boxes made of wood) and embroideries among others, are next to the space dedicated to Jean Lurçat (Artist born in Bruyères). Free visit from Thursday to Sunday during the summer period only and during the Journées du Patrimoine Group tour all year round on request

The Harbour of Epinal is located between the Moselle and the Canal, 5 minutes away from the city centre. With 32 mooring points with water and electricity terminals in service, it welcomes many pleasure boats every year. There, you will find La Capitainerie, which was built by the city, where you can rent electric boats. Just next door, the Maison du vélo will be able to provide you with information on rentals and bike rides, with or without electric assistance. The park has been converted into an amusement park and has several playgrounds for children as well as a cycle path. It can also accommodate camper vans, with a reception area of 5 places equipped with water and electricity terminals in service limited to 48 hours. - Moorings/spots for pleasure boats will be free of charge until the implementation of the CAE co-operative public company (during June 2021). - A standard amperage of at least 16 amps is available - Instructions for the use of the water/electricity terminals will be issued by the CAE on Monday the 17th of May 2021 (the terminals are already in service). Attention: Due to the very low flow of the Moselle, VNF will have to close the access to the port of Epinal from Thursday the 26th of July 2018 at 10:00. A decision will be taken next week with the prefecture.

A cultural and tourist site of unsuspected richness to be discovered or rediscovered without further delay! Push open the doors of the Musée de l'Image and you will be surprised by the abundance and diversity of its collections. Since its creation in 2003, the Museum has housed one of the largest collections of popular printed images in France and abroad: a collection of more than 110,000 images which constitutes a window on the fascinating world of old and contemporary images and their creators and offers an original look at our society. By confronting popular images with other works –contemporary photographs, paintings, but also musical, literary and theatrical works, the Museum gave itself the goal of questioning the connections –humorous, sentimental, sometimes improbable, that exist between the images of yesterday and today. The works on display are presented with explanatory texts for everyone's understanding. The permanent exhibition is designed as an open book that will make you want to turn the pages and look at the images. By offering inventive and varied exhibitions throughout the year, the Musée de l'Image has become not only a reference point for popular imagery but also for the way in which these historical collections can be questioned and understood. For conservation reasons, the images on display are regularly changed, allowing visitors to discover new works each time they visit!
