This easy walk crosses splendid sites such as the Haras de Piencourt stud farm and the pretty village of Bailleul-la-Vallée. This advanced-level route is reserved for experienced cyclists (and mountain bikers). It will take you through idyllic spots and along paths typical of our region, passing by washhouses, churches, and sunken paths. The Fort Moville washhouse, located halfway along the route, is an ideal spot to take a break, so don’t forget to bring a snack if you’d like to have a picnic.

Pastures enclosed with hedges planted on banks, crisscrossed by streams and holloways: the typical bocage landscape of the Pays d'Auge is still unspoilt in this small valley close to Cormeilles. Time seems to stand still and the little river called "douet Tourtelle" can be crossed thanks to wooden footbridges. After the walking trails were open in 2003, the Community of Municipalities of Cormeilles has set up signs and information panels to explain the landscape, the fauna and the flora.

Passing from one hill to the other, we discover the Paquine valley by taking advantage of the shaded paths in the bios which mark out this course, to finish by the magnificent sight on the castle of Houley. Circuit labeled Qualité Calvados

This walk leaves from Fontaine la Louvet, a small village on the border with the Pays d’Auge and the Lieuvin region, where the river Calonne has its source, before flowing into the river Touques in Pont l’Evêque. In a Natura 2000 protected valley, you will enjoy both the green meadows and the shaded forest, with the gently flowing river in the background.
