Musical stroll with the "Voix du Sud", a bucolic stroll through the rounded hillsides of Gascony to discover the vineyard and its ancient vineyard huts.

From villages to viewpoints, during this walk you will be able to see the valleys of the Gers and the Garonne, the wide horizons of the Brulhois area, from East to West and the hills of Gascony to the South. This tour will make you discover the vineyard huts, built in the commune of Astaffort between 1880 and 1950. They belonged to the inhabitants of the village, shopkeepers, teachers, roadmenders, craftsmen, notables and farmers. When one left for the vineyard, one spent the day and sometimes the night there. The hut served as a shelter and a place to live for the winegrowers and the draught animals, cows or horses, as well as a shed for the tools and equipment specific to this crop. Some were of classical construction, in local stone, others in brick, dry earth or wood, depending on the means or personality of the owner.

Albret is a privileged region for hiking enthusiasts, thanks to its mosaic of landscapes. With no difficulties and few differences in altitude, the trails are ideal for families with young children. Accommodation is plentiful. You'll be able to enjoy the region all year round, with landscapes and sensations that change with the seasons.

Marmont-Pachas, a village without a town, is notable for its church with a round, tapering stone bell tower. This is where this hike starts, through very open, rounded hillsides, which accompanies the pilgrims of St-Jacques, from the Aouillès farm to the old cemetery near Curton.

This easy walk takes place in the rounded hills of the Gascony hillsides, accompanying for a few kilometres the pilgrims towards Santiago de Compostela, for whom the goal is 1063 km, the distance indicated on the totem pole installed by the FFRandonnée.

This circuit allows you to discover, from the ridge paths, numerous panoramas on the hillsides of Gascony, delimiting the departments of Gers and Lot-et-Garonne. You can also see the bastide of Lamontjoie, founded in 1298 on a regular plan, with a central square and a parish church. It is surrounded by ramparts and ditches which were transformed into a garden at the end of the 18th century. Outside the walls of the bastide, two convents were founded in the 17th century: that of the Cordeliers in 1623 and that of the Poor Clares in 1667, of which a wing and part of the cloister have been preserved.

From the top of the rounded hills of Cuq or Fals, vast views open up over the hillsides of Gascony. Along the river Gers, this trail offers a fresh route along the shady banks of the river. The wings of the Cuq windmill and the fortified Roques water mill will guide you and you can also admire the built heritage that tells the story of the agricultural life of yesteryear: old Gascon houses, estates with beautiful residences flanked by towers, small vineyard huts and dovecotes, will enliven the landscape throughout the walk.

This easy circuit starts in the plain before climbing the hillsides planted with vines and woods. On the way back, you will pass over the lake of Goulens.

The paths on this route are often paved. The shimmering surface of this large lake - more than a kilometre long - catches the eye. The church of St. Vincent, separated from its bell tower, is also worth seeing, as well as many panoramas, including those of St. Vincent, Manne, Pane Baque, etc..

On this rugged circuit in the hills of Gascony, you can accompany pilgrims walking to Santiago de Compostela or horsemen following the footsteps of Henri IV in Albret.

Built on a gently-sloping plateau near the Auvignon River, this fortified town carries the name of Lamontjoie de Saint Louis. Founded in 1289 by Philippe le Bel, the modest-sized bastide has not changed much since it was built, and features a church as the backdrop to the town centre. The town’s battlements and moat have disappeared, but there is still a rich variety of things to see, including the 16th century church, the 18th century Clarisses convent, and the homogeneous stone buildings.

Former capital of Bruilhois until the Revolution, Laplume is a promontory city, perched on a ridge. The open view allows you to admire a superb 360° panorama of the region. An ancient medieval fortified town, the city has a main street distributing all the districts of the village. You will be surprised by the Saint-Barthélemy church, classified as a Historic Monument, a rare Gothic church in the Agenais Destroyed following a major fire, the ramparts, originally pierced by five gates, have been partly rebuilt by the city.
