Welcome to the White Dolmen Loop of Nojals and Clotte. Through this 27km hike, discover the hamlet of Clotte and its church, the bastide Beaumont du Périgord and the White Dolmen, classified as a historical monument, it is one of the most beautiful dolmens of the Périgord.

Apart from its church, Beaumont also offers relatively well preserved ramparts. An hour's walk from Beaumont, we reach Saint-Avit-Sénieur. Here again we are surprised by the monumentality of the fortified abbey church.

A great day's ride through the Bastides region to visit the Bastides of Beaumont du Périgord and Molières, as well as the abbeys of Cadouin and Saint Avit Sénieur! The little "plus": a picnic lunch in the gardens of Cadouin Abbey, which allows horses and riders to eat in this relaxing setting. The bastides, from the Occitan bastida (construction) of the Périgord, correspond to a new type of town that was created between the 12th and 14th centuries. In contrast to the medieval habitat generally grouped around the church or the castle, the bastide was more like a Roman city, organized around a central administrative and commercial square.

From the bastide town of Beaumont to the castle of Bannes via the Couze valley, discover the medieval Périgord.

A former pilgrimage route of 180 kilometers from the Périgord to Rocamadour, this magnificent route is now marked out, and allows us to cross the vineyards and hills of Bergerac in complete safety, before skirting the green Dordogne valley and its cliffs, to arrive in the valley of the Ouysse, which makes its bed in the arid causse of the Lot. For this 4th stage, starting from Beaumont, we reach Saint Avit Senieur and its monumental fortified abbey church, and a few kilometres further on, we cross the bastide town of Molières before finally reaching Cadouin, built around a prestigious Cistercian abbey.

Discover the pretty village of St-Léon-d'Issigeac with its beautiful stone houses and its flowery town centre. Formerly called St-Léon-de-Cugnac or de Roquepine, this name would refer to St-Léonce who was bishop of Périgueux in the 6th century. Its church, reworked in the 19th century, has three naves and a bell with inscriptions. Nearby, there is a stone calvary from the 18th century, the base of which seems to be an old altar.

Visit the village and then discover the architecture of the Périgord: the beautiful Carthusian monastery of Entraygues, the stone houses in the hamlet of "Les Bouyjoux". During the walk, you will notice ponds, built springs and wells which attest to the presence of resurgences located below the village. You will also see along the way some pigeon lofts integrated into the isolated habitat.

You will be able to borrow 2 books or 2 comics per person for each visit. The subscription is free, you will be asked for a 30 € deposit cheque which will be returned to you at your last visit.

32.8-hectare lake, classified as 2nd category. Carp fishing by night, pike, roach and zander. Each fisherman must have a fishing licence (on sale online or from the Gamm Vert shop in Villeréal). There is a signposted path around the lake. From around the lake, you can observe many of the water birds that frequent it throughout the seasons (remember to bring your binoculars). In winter and during migrations, the site is particularly interesting for the wide diversity of birds present.

The Maison de la Résistance - Ferme du Bouscatel is one of the most important Resistance sites in the Haut Agenais region. The farm still bears the scars of the Nazi attack on July 14, 1944, during which eleven maquisards lost their lives. It is also a place of remembrance and mediation, bearing witness to the major events of the Resistance in the Villeréalais region during this period. It bears the memory of the martyrs of the Veny and Carnot groups. Volunteers are on hand to welcome you by prior arrangement and during the European Heritage Days. They will comment on the documents and elements presented in this place of memory.

Le Clos du Breil is a family farm located near the medieval village of Issigeac. The estate comprises 16 hectares of vines At Le Clos du Breil the work in the vineyard and the vinification are dictated by several principles: patience, humility and sharing. Great attention is paid to the work of the vine (no chemical weeding for 10 years, in organic conversion) in order to magnify the expression of the terroir composed of Issigeac limestone mixed with flint. In order to offer a range of wines in line with our principles, we harvest our plots according to the aromatic evolution of the berries. We take care to vinify each parcel and each grape variety separately until the final blend. We offer different vintages. Wines that are supple on the fruit and wines of character that make the reputation of the estate.
