A small, personal campsite on the edge of the Normandie Maine National Park, a site with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and the village of Couterne. Situated on the main road between Lassay-les-Chateaux (Petites Cités de Caractère) and the spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne, on the border between the departments of Mayenne (Pays de la Loire) and Orne (Normandy). A warm welcome awaits explorers in caravans, motorhomes and tents, whether travelling with a motorised vehicle or on their own. Our pitches are spacious and bordered by hedges. They are ideal for families or couples to feel at home. We have two accommodation units available for hire. Our large and spacious mobile home is available for a minimum of 3 nights. Our smaller mobile home is available by the night and is ideal for couples, families with young children and walkers/cyclists. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON SITE. The site is open from April to September.

Between Bagnoles de l'Orne, a renowned spa town, and Lassay-les-Châteaux, a small town full of character, the Champs étoilés gîte is exceptional for the warm atmosphere it creates thanks to a subtle combination of wood and stone, and new and renovated furniture. The bedding is comfortable and there are two bathrooms, one with a whirlpool bath. The stay includes beds made, bathroom and kitchen linen, heating and cleaning. From JUNE 2025: a wellness area will be available with, on level 0, a heated, semi-underground swimming pool measuring 4m x 3m, a sauna and a spa, shower and wc. A fitness area will be located on the mezzanine floor. In the valleys of hautes Mayenne the landscape is undulating, offering beautiful views. Local shops in Couterne, 3km (bakery, butcher, mini-market). Bagnoles de l'Orne (9km): spa, swimming pool, tree-lined course, restaurants, all shops and services. La Ferté-Macé (14km): leisure centre with water sports and swimming in season. Lassay-les-Châteaux (9km): visits to the château, numerous events and exhibitions, painters in the street, art galleries, market and shops. Swimming pool in summer. Numerous signposted walks. From the gîte, 500 metres, Sentier du sculpteur, a short walk of 6.7km. Professional stays: 3 people maximum. 1 or 2-night weekend breaks: arrival 5pm - departure 5pm. This vast tepee (8m in diameter) to welcome up to 15 guests is located in the heart of the Normandy bocage on the banks of a small stream. You are sure to appreciate the calm and tranquillity of this natural setting with pond and landscaped garden. The tepee is available for total or partial rental for one or several guests. The mattresses provided can be used as sofas during the day. Don't forget to bring your own sleeping bags and covers. A kitchen is at your disposal, as well as an adjoining sanitary block.
