The Canal des 2 Mers à Vélo is the only tourist itinerary that links two coasts, from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, and crosses the great South-West of France between Royan and Sète. The 750 km long itinerary is divided into three sections: the Gironde Estuary, the Garonne Canal and the Canal du Midi. In Lot-et-Garonne, you will cycle along the Canal de Garonne, mainly on a greenway built on the old towpath. If each stage invites you to fall under the charm of the lock houses, the bastides, the Buzet vineyards or the rural landscapes, one of the highlights of the trip will be your arrival in Agen by the canal-bridge over the Garonne, the second longest canal-bridge in France, entirely built of cut stone. From the town hall square, not far from the Admiral's cellar, you will cross the hillside overlooking the valley, without seeing it. From the bridge of Pinayne, you have the choice between the Voie Verte or the opposite towpath. After the harbour, continue along the canal for almost a kilometre. Then follow the foot of the dyke, on the old paved towpath of the Garonne. A tunnel allows you to pass under the canal and go back up to the Place du Tertre via the rue de la Brèche des Anglais. It owes its name to the feats of arms of the armies of the Earl of Derby who broke through the wall to take over the Citadel in 1345. The church is built on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa. It was rebuilt in the 16th century, probably after the Wars of Religion. The arcaded bell tower is pierced by three bays and once had two bells, one dated 1564 and the other 1740. The building houses a holy water font, probably from the Cordeliers de La Réole convent.

The church, partly Romanesque, has a 15th century gabled bell tower. It dominates the facade, facing west and pierced by a Renaissance door. Between the nave and the choir, two arches open on to Gothic side chapels dating from the 15th and 16th centuries. Both have an altarpiece built into the wall. The north chapel is decorated with vestiges of frescoes and the south chapel is topped by an armed keystone. In the church, an 18th century wooden statue representing Saint Front is kept. The church is listed in the supplementary inventory of Historical Monuments.

To build this building, the craftsmen used the remains of an ancient Gallo-Roman villa. The choir's rubble is the same as that which formed the walls of the old building and the stoup was made from an ancient capital. The building was vaulted in the 12th century and the chevet was redone at the end of the 14th century. The Romanesque carved decoration shows Daniel in the lions' den and David killing Goliath. The walls of the apse remain covered with several paintings. One of them represents the devil dragging with him characters guilty of having committed the seven deadly sins. ISMH 1961, Cl. Former annex of the parish of Montagoudin, the building is a Romanesque construction, wide and stocky. Exposed to flooding, it has been repaired at various times. Although the vault and the crowning of the apse have disappeared, the church has preserved an old tiled floor, a flamboyant style window and its porch under which two Romanesque heads support the beams. The stoup, placed in the aisle, is decorated with stars.

This Romanesque church is composed of two naves separated by ogival arches. The gabled bell tower has a wooden access balcony. The portal with moulded arches is dominated by a tympanum without lintel and the porch is from the 17th century. The west facade and the campanile are listed as Historic Monuments.

The church consists of an apse and two side chapels. The northern one, with an ogival vault, dates from the 15th century. This building and the presbytery are built from Roman remains. In the sacristy, a Roman frieze in white marble comes from the rich Gallo-Roman villa of Cassinogilum reported by the chronicler monk Aimoin in 1004.

This church dates from the 12th century. Several elements of the Romanesque church were rediscovered in the second half of the 20th century. Indeed, in 1959, the altar leaning against the flat wall that closed the choir collapsed, revealing a Romanesque apse. During a Sunday mass in 1961, the masonry massif that covered the chevet collapsed in turn, undermined by a rainy season. The primitive wall in a small device is then uncovered. Now restored in its Romanesque lines, the church has a 12th century bell tower.
