The church is built on the site of a Gallo-Roman villa. It was rebuilt in the 16th century, probably after the Wars of Religion. The arcaded bell tower is pierced by three bays and once had two bells, one dated 1564 and the other 1740. The building houses a holy water font, probably from the Cordeliers de La Réole convent.
