Hiking easy to achieve for young and old through the vineyards of Armagnac, with passage on the lake, dike, footbridge. 1 - departure from the hall of the festivals: at the start of the yellow signposting of the PR along the whole course, descend towards the north on 1100 m, then take the road on the left until the tarred road 2 - turn right to the lake. In the turn, turn left towards the lake and go over the dike. Take the path on the left and follow the lake to the vineyard of Sancet (vineyard: producer of armagnac, floc and wine). Bypass the vine from the right to the road. 3 - Go straight ahead, pass the entrance of the castle until the crossing (possible variant left towards the village). Otherwise continue to the right until the RD 25 and cross it. Follow the tar then the path and cross the bridge. Turn left and follow the road to the road. 4 - turn right, go up to the junction (not far from the church of Mauriet) then turn left and go down the road. Before the bridge turn left, pass the bridge. At the end turn right until the RD 25. 5 - Turn left again for 150 m. Turn right towards "Berdine". At the top turn left and return to the village by the beginning of the route.

On the borders of the Landes and the Gers, the small bastide of Montégut slumbers between vineyards and sunflower fields. In 1320, Guilhem de Montaigut, seneschal of Gascony for the King of England, founded the bastide "Monte Acuto". During the 14th and 15th centuries the town was destroyed several times and the number of its inhabitants could be counted on the fingers of one hand. Today, it still offers beautiful half-timbered and brick facades: the La Salle house, known as the Governor's house (17th century), the Lo Campané house... The Saint-Laurent church has an imposing polygonal bell tower. While strolling through the streets, small unusual details catch your eye: the door of the master of the Forges and its painted motifs, the work of shoeing the horses. On the occasion of its 101st anniversary Montégut organizes on August 7th its first medieval market.

Bourdalat - Church dedicated to St John the Baptist, entered in the register of Historical Monuments (the door and altarpiece are Historical Monuments). Built in the 12th century, only the bell tower survived the Wars of Religion. Recently restored to its original caracteristics.

Parish church built in 1026. Looted and burned down by huguenot Captain Bautigan, and rebuilt in the 18th century. Open wednesdays from 9AM to 6PM.

Small village on the site of a motte-and-bailey castle, where remain beautiful very old half-timbered houses and an old mill on the Douze river. The church, with a gable-shaped bell-tower, dates back to the year 1026. It was destroyed during the wars of religion, then rebuilt in the 18th century. At the entrance of the graveyard in front of the church remains a small edifice where the St Loup fountain was. The fountain is now dry. The Briat castle, nearby was built by the d'Albret family. Henri IV visited several times.
