The Blue route is a 20 km loop which allows you to discover the Parc Forestier du Lac Bleu in Léognan, the Lac Vert in Canéjan, the Écomusée de la Vigne et du Vin in Gradignan, the Prieuré de Cayac in Gradignan and the Eau Bourde valley. This route is one of the three routes that make up the Graves route (56 km in total) and which crosses 5 communes: Léognan, Canéjan, Gradignan, Cestas and Pessac. This itinerary is made up of "nature trails" but also of various sections (cycle paths, local roads, rural tracks, etc.). It is open to walkers and mountain bikers. The two other routes are the green route (5 km) and the red route (30 km).

The Migelane Departmental Forest is largely used for wood production. This former wet heathland is home to a varied natural heritage. The nature of its soils, the plant formations and the presence of wetlands allow the development of numerous animal and plant species. The Migelane forest promises secrets and beautiful encounters along the way, including the Montesquieu oak under which the writer is said to have rested. The geological walk looks at the nature of the soil, the sand and gravel that outcrops and ends up on an extraction site. The Lac Vert leisure centre was inaugurated on 5 November 1996 on the site of a disused gravel quarry, located at Le Camp. The 12-hectare lake is a sports fishing area as well as a popular site for walkers and joggers. This tree-lined itinerary along the Eau Bourde invites walkers around its pond whose colour (the "Bourde" or cloudy water) is characteristic of alios, an agglomerate of sand and iron oxide. The pond, which serves as a spreading basin, collects rainwater from the House district of Canéjan. Located in a park in the commune of Gradignan, crossed by the Eau Bourde, the Relais Jacquaire de Cayac on the route to Santiago de Compostela, is composed of a 13th century church, classified as a historical monument, and a priory whose buildings have become a cultural centre. The history of the Priory is inseparable from that of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. In the heart of the prestigious Pessac-Léognan appellation, Château Léognan is a 6-hectare family property bought in 2007 by Philippe and Chantal MIECAZE. They acquired this exceptional vineyard which has been cultivated and run by the neighbouring Grand Cru Classé de Graves for two decades. After having perfectly restored the Château built between the 17th and 19th centuries, Philippe and Chantal are today devoted to the recognition of their wine, Château Léognan, as one of the best red Pessac-Léognan.

The vines of Mancèdre, totally destroyed by the frost of the terrible winter of 1956, remained abandoned for almost 40 years. The grandparents of the current owner, Jean Trocard, were too old to replant the vineyard. In 1994, Jean Trocard decided to take up the challenge and embark on the adventure. 11 hectares of red grape varieties (60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot) are now in production. We decided to continue the adventure by planting in 2012, 3 additional hectares with white grape varieties. The vines flourish on a great terroir of gravel soils and subsoils, coming from the Pyrenees, which give power and finesse to the wine.

This restored oven dates back to around the 17th century. It is designed to be used by several families. The bread baked in the form of large round loaves is intended to be consumed over several weeks.
