Les Pistes de Robin : Martillac d'hier et d'aujourd'hui

Your adventure begins at the tourist office. Once outside, turn left and take the Route de Massiot to the 2nd roundabout.

Here, you can see a 'plantation' of muguet. Martillac is the second producer in France after Nantes!

Take the impasse of Massiot on the left until you reach rue Aliénor d'Aquitaine. At the end of the wooded path after the parking lot, our little secret awaits you on the other side of the road...

Go up the avenue towards the Town Hall then turn right. At the second intersection turn left and walk through the vineyards of Château Latour-Martillac.

From the entrance gate of the Château Latour-Martillac, we observe its tower. It owes its name to an old shelter from the 12th century that was part of the defenses of the Château de La Brède.

Of Romanesque style, this church rises perhaps on the bases of a Roman temple dedicated to Mars.
