Hike to the ancient Castelviel Oppidum, on the heights of Aiguèze

The Via Rhôna is a Eurovéloroute that links Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean and crosses the Vaucluse over approximately 72 km, divided into 2 stages: stage 17: Lapalud - Caderousse/Orange stage 18: Caderousse - Avignon

The Via Rhôna, from Lapalud to Caderousse, is a temporary signposted route in southern Lapalud on the left bank towards Vaucluse. The itinerary winds across the agricultural plain as far as the Canal de Donzère then continues onwards to the foot of the Fortress of Mornas and on to Piolenc. From Li Piboulo lake, you have two options. Continue towards Caderousse along the greenway bordering the Rhone. Join the Roman town of Orange and its famous triumphal arch. About 3.8 km from Lapalud is Girardes lake, where you can go swimming or choose from a variety of water and leisure activities. Make your way gently to the Provençal village of Caderousse surrounded by dykes protecting it from the unpredictable Rhone.

The distance for cycling around the Massif d'Uchaux is between 16 and 42 km.

This greenway is exclusively reserved for pedestrians, cyclists and rollerbladers.... Signposts are installed all along the walk. It crosses the town from east to west, from the rond-point de l'Europe to the Espace de loisirs Saint-Paul 2003, passing through the gardens and strong heritage features of our town: Jardin Saint-Vincent, Orchard des Enfants de Barbière, Jardins du Resseguin. For your safety and enjoyment, the promenade is lit at night.

This hike takes you on a journey through the history of the truffle and its exploitation, from the beginning of the 20th century. You'll cross former truffle fields that have gone wild. The arrival on a limestone plateau offers an exceptional view of Saint-Paul, Saint- Restitut Restitut, Clansayes, Le Ventoux, the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Monts d'Ardèche... Along the way, you'll discover 4 information points on truffle cultivation on holm oak trees.

In a setting with oak trees mainly predominating, the hiking trail leads up to the highest point of the Serre mountain, at an altitude of 549 metres, providing some truly exceptional views.

The Concluses de Lussan is an exceptional site, with its rugged, lunar appearance. The extraordinary view of the rocky escarpments and cavities in the river bed give the site its full measure and splendor. Start at the Concluses parking lot in Lussan. Follow the trail downhill to the Portail des Concluses, the trail’s final stop. Return by the same route. The ecosystem, geology, and human settlement are among the topics illustrated by interpretive panels along the trail. From April through October, depending on rainfall, the stream bed may be dry. In that case, you can follow its course on foot and enjoy a beautiful walk in the heart of nature.

The Concluses are long natural gorges and rocky corridors carved out over time by the Aiguillon river. Discover an exceptional panorama and ecosystem. Departure from Lussan from the parking lot at the foot of the village. Head for "Les Concluses" on the D259, following the "Le Vallen" hiking sign for 1.3 km. Then take the right-hand path for 1.6km towards the Prade sign. Turn right and follow the signs for Les Concluses for 2.2km. Turn left and follow the Concluses interpretation trail, which will take you to the viewpoint where you can observe the panorama. Return to Lussan by turning back. From the Concluses parking lot, follow the "l'Espesviel" sign for 1.3km. Go straight on towards "la Grande Croisière" for 300m, then join "la Clapeyrolle" via the D643 for 600m. Turn right to follow "Lac de Mercouire" for 1.4km. Turn left, then right onto the D143 for 1.4km. Take the track on the left to join the "Gammeile" sign, then turn right to take the D143 back up to the village parking lot. Do not venture into the Aiguillon riverbed during periods of high water, thunderstorms or from January 15 to June 30. Some sections are more strenuous than others, requiring you to negotiate rocks. Some slippery passages in wet weather on the lower section.
