At the end of this road, turn left towards the Crocq - Dimpoux road.Cross the road and go up alongside the wood. Continue to the Urbe crossroads.Cross the Crocq-Flayat road and take the old Roman road opposite. Continue to the small road that leads to Naberon and turn right to the D 28.Cut across the road to take the opposite path between the meadows.Turn right at the first and then the second junctions. At the third, go up the rise on the left, and you will find a pleasant descent to Crocq and the road which goes back up to the village.

Go past the college and take the first road on the left, in the direction of Laval.In the village of Laval, turn left on the downhill road, signposted "le Dolmen"; go through the woods.Go up slightly towards the clearing where the dolmen is located and follow the path, which, on the way down, joins the Laval-Dimpoux road.Turn left (100 m before the road) on the road leading to Saint-Alvard.Go up to the chapel and, at the top on the left, take the path that goes between the meadows and then into the wood.Follow the path straight ahead (leaving the path on the right that goes up to La Mazerette). After the stream, turn right onto the uphill path into the wood and follow it straight on until you reach the road to Crocq.Cross the road and take the passage opposite to go up towards the village.

Just before the sports field, take the D 28 on the right, and 400 meters further, take a path on the right in front of the housing estate, then enter the woods. Upon exiting the woods, turn left. At the second intersection, turn left and follow the path straight until you reach the D 28. Cross the road towards Naberon Haut, go through the village, ignore the sign for Côte Bertrand, and take a left; then turn left again until you reach Montel Guillaume. Pass the chapel on your right, and about 100 meters after the last house in the village, take a path to the left and go straight for 1 km through the woods. At the end of the path, at the intersection, take a right onto a path that climbs through conifers to reach the junction of the D 996 and D 9. Cross straight ahead onto the path

The last vestiges of a powerful 12th-century chateau, the two towers offer a splendid panoramic view of the Limousin and Auvergne. An orientation table crowns the top of one. Two rooms present a history of the restoration work and host seasonal exhibitions.

Traditional 16th-century two-sided cross with Christ on one side and the Virgin Mary on the other. Both are surrounded by small figures. The upright of the cross is fluted, as are the arms. The finials at either end of the cross have their tips embellished with a plant motif (a sort of staff decorated with crossbones), between two petals that fall on either side, extending parallel to the arms and uprights of the cross, around which they form a sort of openwork frame. This three-meter-high cross was moved from a disused cemetery to a new one, and placed on a modern plinth. CMH in 1963

The church was built in the 18th century (1762-1775). The building, with a straight chevet, is composed of a nave with three bays. A chapel is built on each of the north and south walls.

The public weighbridge is an architectural structure. In the Creuse region, it is usually located in the center of a village, or near a church or market place. It was used to determine the weight of any road vehicle or animals such as pigs or cows, or hay and straw etc., and then sell them at a price based on their weight. The Creuse region has preserved a number of these, sometimes even in working order.

Before 1789, the parish was under the authority of the diocese of Clermont, while the abbey of Chambon was responsible for its administration. In the 13th century, the main feature of the building was the barrel-roofed nave. The side chapels, which form a sort of transept with two small sacristies, date from the modern era. The western facade is topped by a bell-wall with two semicircular bays. IMH

Before the French Revolution, the church belonged to the diocese of Clermont-Ferrand. Patronage belonged to the Abbey of Chambon. Dating from the late 13th and early 14th centuries, this church comprises a three-bay nave with a straight chevet, the last bay forming a choir. It was rib-vaulted in 1870, when a chapel was added to the north. This modern vault, which replaces panelling, uses some of the supports from the original ribbed vault. The chevet is lit by a long, three-lobed bay. South portal in broken tracery with spandrels, columns and capitals forming a frieze. Bell-wall with triangular gable. To protect the church interior from damp, the doors will only be opened when the weather is fine.
