Starting out from Gabaston, this charming loop first runs alongside the Souye river, then follows part of the Way of St James, in the shade of holly and oak trees. Ideal for a family outing, it can be enjoyed all year round.

Lovely walk from Abère on track and small road. Initially elevated to take advantage of the view of the Pyrenees, it descends into a valley and runs alongside the meandering Grand Lées. It then passes through a pleasant pine forest before returning to your starting point. You can try your hand at drawing by stopping at the "rando dessin" station, where you'll find a beautiful hilly landscape.

This 11th century renovated edifice holds two paintings by Constance de Canet, "our" bearnaise Georges Sand. Born in Sedzère at the end of the 19th century, she dressed like a man, smoked, went fishing, painted her own masterpieces and renovated painting. The church Saint Pierre has a painting of Saint Sabin and also one of a dead Christ (which is an identical copy of the one found at the church of Bruges). There is an altarpiece painting representing an impressive Saint Peter, holder of the keys, dated and signed by Subercaze (1856). The tabernacle and the altarpiece (end of the 17th century or beginning of the 18th century) are registered in the French Supplementary Historic Monument List.

The Office of Tourism has the following exhibitions : original stones coming from the Church Sainte Foy in Morlaàs (12th century) like this remarquable Vieillard de l’Apocalypse, plasters casts used to renovate the monument, old coins, seals, parchments… Morlaàs has the privilege of still having in possession a set of weights in bronze which were used for commercial transactions. One of the has the date of MVCLXXVI for 1576.

Situated in the north-east of Pau, a real belvedere over the Pyrenees, this historical capital of Béarn from 1080 to 1260 had a brilliant development thanks to the Fors de Morlaàs, a charter of privileges which made Béarn a real forerunner in terms of justice and democracy. From this prosperous period when the Viscounts resided in this place and minted coins, many traces of the past remain, including the Sainte-Foy church, a jewel of Romanesque art. Pilgrims from Santiago de Compostela come here in great numbers. After a period of disuse, the town was successful again at the beginning of the 18th century when it started to produce furniture, a craft that made its reputation. The markets, true secular traditions, still survive today.

Classified as an Historical Monument in 1841, The Church Sainte-Foy, built in the heart of the historical capital of Bearn, shows very impressive carved capitals in the choir like the Beheading of Sainte Foy and the Piton de Jaca, an architectural motif reproduced on the pilgrimage roads. Original stones of the Romanesque portal, which had been renovated in the 19th century, are exhibited at the Office of Tourism. The original of the remarkable tympanum can be seen in the chapel of the Bienheureux Bernard. Ten stained glass windows have been done by Mauméjean (1869).
