Richard Piriou established his own poultry farm in 2014, on the family farm in Guillerval in the south of Essonne. Son of farmers, this poultry farmer raises bare-necked chickens, farm guineafowls, as well as capons for the end of year celebrations. All are raised in a natural outdoor setting and wander through a grassy path of several dozen hectares. The farmer also cultivates cereals on part of his farm according to a sustainable agriculture. Richard's poultry are fed with wheat and corn from the farm but also with oilseeds and protein crops. Richard Priou sells his products on the markets of Etampes or Auvers-Saint-Georges (every other Saturday morning) and then on the markets of Guillerval or Saint-Cyr-la-Rivière (every other Saturday afternoon). It is also possible to place an order directly with the breeder and collect the poultry from the farm.

Located in the charming Château de l’Églantine in Jouy-en-Josas, the Musée de la Toile de Jouy brings to life the legacy of the famous Jouy Manufacture, founded in 1760 by Christophe-Philippe Oberkampf, a visionary entrepreneur and printer. At the heart of the Perche regional natural Park, come and visit a small, family-run goat farm, on an authentic estate in Corbionne Valley. Malvina sells soaps & cosmetics made from goat’s milk, wool for knitting and her mohair creations using the hair from her angora goats. With a prior booking, take a guided tour of the farm and the various production workshops (1.5 hour tour).

Nonancourt was fortified shortly before Verneuil-sur-Avre by Henry Beauclerc circa 1112. 700 years ago, a powerful fortress flanked by 14 towers stood there. During your visit have a look at Saint Martin's Church and its stained-glass windows, listed a Historic Monument in 1975. The Norman half-timbered houses, the remains of the 12th century fortification wall, and walks along the water constitute Nonancourt's heritage. During the 19th century, this town was considered as a "centre of the textile activity" with its cotton and wool spinning mills.

Domain of Méréville is assessed as the last example of picturesque garden designed in the late 18th century. It is a remarkable and iconic landscaped park of Anglo-Chinese gardens of the late eighteenth century. It was composed by François-Joseph Bélanger then Hubert Robert on behalf of financier Jean-Joseph de Laborde, wealthy sponsor and great lover of gardens. It belongs to the category of picturesque gardens which mark the rupture with the ideal of regular garden fashionable until that time: composed of an array, articulated around scenes that we discover during the walk and along the water, the landscaped garden is a tribute to an idealized and sublimated nature. The Domain has been owned by the Department Council of Essonne since December 2000 and is the subject of restoration work campaigns. In 2019 it obtained the national label "Jardin Remarquable".

The church was built in 1865 by the abbot Migorel. As it is listed as a "Monument Historique", the building is protected. Its bell tower is quite unique, and is home to the virgin Mary and the two little kids from Savoy: Maximon and Mélanie.

Villeconin Castle was built in the late 14th century by Jean de Montaigu, superintendent of Kings Charles VI finances. The castle, typical of the medieval era with its keep, its round tower and its guards room, is surrounded by moats at the edge of the parc. The guided tour by the owner family ends with a walk in the park where everyone is invited to walk freely. The garden is composed of boxwood clusters and a wooded area. The flowerbeds alternate with perennial flowering staggered, rosebushes and fuchsia.

With its great park, its garden and its was statues living in the castle, Breteui is a family outing. Château de Breteuil stands in the heart of the Vallée de Chevreuse. The de Breteuil family, one of the most illustrious in France, has owned this immense property for several generations. The current building features a harmonious 17th-century façade of white stone and pink brick. But if you look hard enough, you can still make out some of the remains of the original fortified castle, such as the dovecote.
