The Planchetorte valley is also incredibly rich in flora because of the diversity of environments that can be observed there.

With a route of 17 km and no difficulties, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the peace and quiet that surrounds the rich landscape of the Vézère valley! Saint-Viance, a small hamlet immersed in a unique setting, is the starting point for your tour. Don't miss seeing the shrine of Saint-Viance in the church, which has been a listed monument since 1891. You will then follow the Vézère river for the most part, to arrive at Le Saillant. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a gothic style bridge with ogival arches, and many other sights await you! If you like the built heritage, then a diversion to Allassac will not be too much for you. An open-air museum, the historic monuments are on display all year round, notably the round tower, one of the only ones in the Limousin.

Discover the Ardoise region through this 61 km long sportive route! Your tour starts in Donzenac, a pretty town of character. Once an important fortified town, Donzenac has lost none of its charm thanks to its medieval architecture. At the highest point of the oldest part of the town is the astonishing castle of the barons of Donzenac, which is surely the oldest remaining residence in the town. After a few kilometres in the legs, you arrive at the gates of Allassac! Amongst its rich heritage, the 14th century fortified church and the Tour César are worth discovering. To complete the loop, allow yourself a well-deserved break to discover the Pans de Travassac. The interest of the site is explained by its impressive coloured cliffs, which do not fail to surprise, just like its decor which harmonises mineral and plant environments.

1000 km of mountain biking around Corrèze to revisit the local heritage, both natural and cultural, thanks to sport tourism. The routes are divided into 51 sectors of 10 to 25 km, crossing more than 200 communes and a topoguide details each sector. The Grand Itinéraire à VTT will make you travel in multiple landscapes as varied as our Corrèze is. Sometimes easy on wide and rolling roads, sometimes difficult, even very difficult on small steep paths, you will cross deciduous forests in Basse-Corrèze before finding yourself in the middle of coniferous forests in Haute-Corrèze. Not forgetting this magnificent crossing of the Regional Natural Park of Millevaches in Limousin. A real adventure by mountain bike or electric bike to share with your family or friends.

Starting with a Murano glass rod melted at around 1,200°C with a blowtorch, the glass is wound like honey around a metal mandrel to bring the bead to life. My creations, made from glass from the island of Murano north of Venice, are unique and customisable. They are made one by one by hand and mounted on silver, giving each piece of jewellery and accessory its own special identity.

The museum is housed in the family home of resistance fighter and statesman Edmond Michelet (1899-1970). Its field of study and collections relate to the Second World War, the Resistance and the Deportation, in France and in Corrèze. The museum boasts a major collection of propaganda posters, which have become a distinctive feature of its heritage, with a permanent exhibition and temporary exhibitions. The museum is open to the general public and schools, and its documentation and archive center is available for research into its field of study. The museum also organizes guided tours of its temporary exhibitions and workshops for children throughout the year. It takes part in the European Museum Night in May and the European Heritage Days in September. Free admission.
