Château Sénéjac is located in Le Pian Médoc. It covers 150 hectares, including 41 hectares of vines. In the Haut-Médoc appellation, the estate produces two wines: Château Sénéjac and Comte de Sénéjac. The owners, the Bignon Cordier family, also own Château Talbot in Saint-Julien and Domaine St Andrieu in Provence. The average age of the vineyard is 35 years, and the average planting density is 6,600 vines per hectare. The hand of man shapes each vine. From pruning to harvesting, we pay particular attention to the balance of the plant material. Every intervention in the vineyard is carefully thought out according to the characteristics of each plot, in order to respect the expression of the Médoc terroir. The vineyard is managed using integrated viticulture methods and is certified High Environmental Value (HVE 3).

Since the Middle Ages, this wine chateau is located in Taillan-Médoc, . It was in 1896 that Henry Cruse acquired it. For five generations, it remained family property. The harmonious facades dating from the eighteenth century as the altarpiece that closes the long terrace. In its ogival vault, time stands still: visitors discover the remains of funerary inscriptions (in homage to the Lord in the Alesme family). Unsurprisingly, its imposing rectangular bell tower and eastern end, ornately decorated with magnificent Romanesque-era sculptures, are classified as historical monuments...

This fun and recreational park is the western entrance to the Parc des Jalles, which runs along the Vallée de la Jalle in Saint-Jean-d'Illac at its mouth with the Garonne. A large part of the site is dedicated to sports activities (rugby, football and Australian football, archery, weightlifting...). More educational, or just for the pleasure of strolling along the banks, the walk along the Jalle will lead you to the sources of the Thil and Gamarde rivers, passing through many play areas: water games, islands of plants, a plant maze, arboretum ... a little further on you will see an old grain mill, which is not open to the public Occasionally, part of the site can also be used for circuses, garage sales, the Jalles House Rock festival and other events.

This old traditional sheepfold is called "courtiou". Formerly used by flocks of sheep and shepherds on their itinerant route, it has now almost completely disappeared. This sheepfold, moved at the beginning of the 20th century for pastoral purposes, was re-installed on this airial by the Conservatoire des Races d'Aquitaine in 2015. The building and the site of more than 800 hectares spread over the communes of Saint-Aubin-de-Médoc, Salaunes and Avensan will accommodate a shepherd and his 400 Landes sheep. Open to the public and schoolchildren, the sheepfold will be a place for the transmission of pastoral practices of yesterday and today.

Blanquefort would be a form derived from the Latin "Blanca fortis", "white fort", impression left by the construction in the 11th century of the first stone keep whose high and white silhouette stood out in the green setting of the marshes The modest lordly keep was transformed into an English royal fortress at the beginning of the 14th century by Edward I. The fortress was naturally defended by the marshes and commanded the only road linking the Médoc to Bordeaux. Sold as national property during the Revolution, it passed into the hands of various owners who, interested only in the land around it, allowed it to deteriorate 1 km from the fortress, the Maison du Patrimoine de Blanquefort (Les Allées de Carpinet) houses a permanent exhibition on Anglo-Gascon Aquitaine as well as temporary exhibitions throughout the year.

Built on twelfth century foundations, the church's monumental porch is beautifully preserved: the unique, finely crafted five-arch doorway belongs to the original edifice. Inside, the protected decor is exquisite, with a superb Madonna and Child in gilded wood accentuating the exquisite form of the adjacent 18th century altar and reredos, sculpted in wood. Funerary inscriptions dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries line the walls, with ornamental paintings decorated with noble insignia. The church tells the story of the noblemen whose influence is still apparent today, all over the Medoc.

In the Domaine de Lescombes (itself an exhibition venue) presents a collection of over 1000 market-gardening tools, telling the story of the development of market gardening activities from manual ploughing to modern mechanised farming methods. Visits upon appointment.
