The cycle route 93 from Limoges to Vassivière will take you to the medieval town of Saint-Léonard de Noblat (the Romanesque collegiate church of Saint-Léonard de Noblat is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Moulin du Got paper museum), Bujaleuf (it is possible to follow the route as far as Nedde), the village of Peyrat-le-Château and then the Vassivière lake It is one of the most beautiful lakes of the Limousin bordered by forests which has an island and many tourist activities.

The Moulin du Poudrier is located on the banks of the Vienne River, on a 4-hectare estate that has been a flour mill since the late 16th century. It was requisitioned by Louis XIV as a royal gunpowder mill, hence the name "Le Poudrier". It then became a porcelain factory, a hydroelectric power station and a spinning mill. In 1998, the mill was bought by Jacques Vignéras, who restored it with Paolo Del Vecchio. The site has now regained its prestige. The garden is a magical place that awakens all the senses. A recent addition, it is of Franco-Italian inspiration, with fountains, pottery and terracotta statues. It's an ornamental garden, featuring over 400 plants and remarkable trees (a plane tree over a hundred years old, a secular cedar). There's also an open-air theater where shows are staged.

It was established in 1830 to enable training charges for cavalry regiments, including the XXth Dragon. The work of the Bühler brothers, famous 19th-century landscape architects, has unfortunately been forgotten. The lower part of the garden was completely rebuilt around 1928. At the heart of a traditional distillery founded in 1789, the museum bears witness to the 48 distilleries that existed in Limoges in 1900. For almost two centuries, Limoges was the city of distilleries. A major trading center, it received cognac, armagnac, rum, liqueur wines, cane sugar, fruit, plants and spices, all of which were essential to the manufacture of numerous specialties. With plenty of oak trees to make barrels, pure, tasty water and a skilled, creative workforce, Limoges saw a new activity develop and prosper alongside porcelain. From 1780 to 1930, there were several dozen distilleries in Limoges.

One of Limoges' two medieval bridges (along with the Pont Saint-Martial), it was the only one to span the Vienne until the Pont-Neuf was built in 1838. Launched in the early 13th century, it was modified several times. A 130-metre-long bridge with forebays, it was protected until the end of the 19th century by a ramier, a vast structural comb designed to hold back the driftwood trains that came down from the mountains to supply the porcelain factories and carpenters' workshops.

The Galerie des Métiers is a showroom open to the public several times a year. These exhibitions, organized by the Haute-Vienne Chamber of Trades and Crafts, showcase the skills and know-how of local craftsmen and women.
