Biarritz's Art Deco Town Hall occupies a building dating from 1928-1929, which was originally the "Au Bon Marché" department store. The municipality acquired the building in order to transform it into the Hôtel de Ville. Architects Fraysse, Huguenin, Vanel and Giraudel were commissioned to carry out the work. The building opened to the public in 1954. The façade was completely renovated in June 2010.

The appearance of these premises no longer evokes what was once one of Biarritz's richest residences (5,000m² park planted with old trees). Opposite the Villa Eugénie, the Duke of Osuna, Marquis of Javalquinto, had a "retiro" built that was to enhance Biarritz's reputation. This small palace consists of a central one-storey building framed by square turrets. This villa bearing the name of Villa Cyrano is dated 1900. It was not originally located in its current location! It was located at the intersection of Avenue de l'Impératrice and Avenue de la Reine Victoria. Condemned to destruction with the expansion of the Carlton Hotel, it was saved in extremis by Alfred Boulant, a local businessman, owner of the Bellevue Casino and above all very attached to heritage. He had it moved and rebuilt stone by stone further up the avenue. Originally called "Villa Labat" it was renamed "Cyrano" in honor of Edmond Rostand's successful play.

The Villa Natacha (1905), a listed historic monument, retains its janitor's lodge and its entire garden, now open to the public. The house was acquired by the town in 1978.

In 1911, the station, built by Adolphe Dervaux, was both sober and elegant in a pure "Art Nouveau" style After the Second World War, only an omnibus network remained. The last shuttle service to Biarritz station, "La Négresse", ran on September 14, 1980. The station was demolished in 1988, when it was converted into a palace.
