This 23 km long greenway runs along the Orne river from Rombas in Moselle to the Moineville leisure area in Meurthe-et-Moselle. This trail is a gentle way of discovering the landscapes of a former steel-making valley. Entirely flat and on its own site, it will delight lovers of cycling and discovery, whether alone, with family or friends. The Greenway is a traffic route open to all non-motorised means of transport.

The GR5F hiking route leads from the source of the Moselle in Bussang to its confluence with the Rhine in Koblenz. It enters France in Apach and provides a link via the Moselle valley. This third stage takes hikers from Rombas to Plappeville, at the gateway to Metz.

This cycle route is an urban alternative to the Voie Bleue. It passes through Maizières-lès-Metz, Semécourt and joins the Voie Bleue at the Argancy dam. A network of 62.5 kilometres, mainly greenways, around Maizières-les-Metz.

This 29 km greenway follows the Orne River from Richemont in Moselle to the leisure area of Moineville in Meurthe-et-Moselle, passing through Rombas. This trail offers a gentle way to discover the landscapes of a former steel valley. Completely flat and on a dedicated site, it will delight cycling and discovery enthusiasts, whether alone, with family, or with friends. In Richemont, the blue thread is connected to La Voie Bleue.

This route, which is open to all forms of soft mobility, runs along the River Orne from Richemont, where it intersects with the Voie Bleue cycle route, to Rombas.

Lying on the right bank of the Moselle, Ennery is a patchwork municipality located at a crossroads of Europe, a few kilometres north of Metz. Although firmly focusing on economic activity and logistics, Ennery is also a residential area and a lovely place to walk. The municipality is in fact located at the heart of a network of green routes covering a total of 35 linear kilometers. This network is connected to the Charles the Bold cycle route which, from the banks of the Moselle, will take long-distance bicycle tourists from Burgundy to Belgium.

This cycle tour takes you to the towns of Ennery, Flévy, Trémery and Ay-sur-Moselle. Initiated at the end of the 1970s with the installation of PSA, the Eurotransit site has become the leading logistics centre in eastern France.

The Petelot is a local poacher who worked between Bertrange and Guénange. Writings about him remain laconic. This walking loop offers several curiosities: in the north of the forest, traces of the loading bay for the munitions of the Second World War which fed the Maginot Line further east still remain. Other even older traces appear in the forest where the ground, provided with mounds of several tens of metres in diameter, attest to the probable presence of tumuli. These heaps of stones or earth cover tombs dating from the Protohistory or even the Prehistory.

This "Moselle and Forest" loop stretches across the Lorraine plateau. This landscape link between the urban and industrial area of the Metz/Thionville axis to the west and the Canner valley to the east, marks the identity of the Arc Mosellan territory. Along the way, you will accompany the silent march of the barges sailing on the Moselle before enjoying the hushed atmosphere of the Blettange state forest.

The mardelles are also called forest pools and are an oasis for local wildlife. It is not uncommon to see a family of badgers or a fox drinking after several hours of multitasking. These are also very rich biotopes with an undeniable ecological role. These sensitive natural environments must be preserved. The existence of a mardelle can have several origins: mainly geological: the erosion of the rock at depth by water creates a collapse of the ground. The excavation is gradually filled in by the earth which, after many years, ends up making the bottom waterproof. Water stagnates there and vegetation and aquatic life settle there. Sometimes human: from ancient times to the 19th century, man has been able to take advantage of these excavations or dig the earth to extract materials. In other rare cases, shell holes can be the cause of recent mardelles.

Museum Gaspar is housed in the residence of the middle-class family Gaspar from Arlon who had set up in this house (1893) that was built in 1842. It was renovated in 2004. The two most famous members of this family are animal sculptor Jean-Marie Gaspar (1861-1931) and Charles Gaspar (1971-1950) who was a photographer and a sponsor. He gave his house to the town of Arlon on the condition they make a museum of it, dedicated to his brother's work and that put into honour the history and the heritage of Arlon. At the first floor, theree are two restored salons identical to a middle-class salon from the early 20th century that show Jean-Marie Gaspar's sculptures. and the art and picture collection of Charles Gaspar. The rest of the first floor is dedicated to temporary exhibitions of the museum that alternates artv and history. A religion room shows collections about the abbey of Orval and to the people's devotion at the 18th century, and also relics from the ancient Saint-Martin church. But the Masterpiece is the famous altarpiece Retable de Fisenne - a 16th century masterpiece from the Antwerp school. It was bought in 1893 by a middle-class family from Arlon, the family Gaspar. Jean Gaspar (1861-1931) was a sculptor. He was trained by the Antwerp sculptor Jef Lambeaux. His works are in bronze and in plaster and they are exhibited in the salons that have been restorated as they were in his house. His brother Charles (1871-1950) was a photographer, a collector and a sponsor. He gave this house to the town of Arlon. It hosts the library of the Archaeological Institute of the Belgian Province of Luxembourg and its secretary office since 1954. A wide part of the museum is also dedicated to temporary exhibitions about art and history of Arlon.

The Drince Tower is a 25-metre-high metal observation tower at an altitude of 390 metres, and is a special stop on the international GR5 hiking trail. The Drince Tower has a pyramidal base and consists of eleven levels, each with ten steps. The first ten steps lead up to the wide, projecting platform, which rises 22 metres from the ground at the end. Like a parapet, a second platform with a modest surface area is accessed by an eleventh landing which raises it to 24.20 metres in the centre of the tower. The railing of the upper platform reaches twenty-five metres above the ground.

The double nave church of Saint-Martin, listed as a historical monument, has a Templar inscription in the choir: "End of the Templars in the year one thousand three hundred and fourteen". To be discovered: a statue of Saint Anne in polychrome wood from the 15th century, a Good God of Pity dated 1533 and an arm-reliquary of Saint Martin from the 18th century. Above the church portal, an inscription in stone dating from the revolutionary period refers to the Supreme Being. There are also several crosses in the commune.

Traces of human presence dating back to 15,000 BC were discovered on the slopes of the Drince coast at a place called "Les Roches". The site "Les Roches" has been populated by several civilizations.
