The Center of Contemporary Photographic Art was established in 2013 in Villa Pérochon, the family home of writer Ernest Pérochon, 1st Goncourt Prize of Deux-Sèvres. It is one of the 6 French photographic art centers designated by the Ministry of Culture in 2011 and the only one in the Great West, from Bordeaux to Nantes and from La Rochelle to Limoges. Its artistic direction is entrusted to "For Now", organizer of the "Encounters of young international photography", key of the annual program of the recognized association of general interest in 2007. It has been the property of guitarist Olivier Savariau and artist-painter Delphine Drapier since 2009 (put up for sale in 2020). Its current name comes from the Virgin with child carved in the 19th century in a dais niche.

This listed bourgeois house of Egyptian neo-classical style (lotus-leaf capitals) was built in the 1830s by Pierre-Théophile Segrétain for former mayor Chebrou de la Roulière. Purchased by the City, it was the first girls' high school of the Academy of Poitiers until 1897. From 1900 to 1913, it was home to the Chamber of Commerce. The practical school of commerce and industry was created there in 1917. House of associations from 1956 to 1988, it later became the Foyer des Jeunes Travailleurs (FJT).

He is supervised by St Ambrose, Doctor of the Latin Church, and St Athanasius, Doctor of the Greek Church, both contemporaries of the bishop. Saint Hilary makes the sign of blessing with his right hand, holds in the left hand the Book of the Trinity and throws a monster.

Raised from 1530 to 1535 by the master mason Mathurin Berthomé on the foundations of a building of the fourteenth century, this "fortress of communal freedoms" is the former City Hall of Niort from the Middle Ages to the Revolution.
