The Richard Coeur de Lion West cycling loop takes in the rolling roads of western Limousin, in Haute-Vienne, in 4 stages and 10 sections. You'll cycle along the Voie Verte des Hauts de Tardoire and the V56 and V93 cycle routes. You'll visit the villages of Châlus, Rochechouart and Nexon, with their castles on the Richard the Lionheart discovery route. You'll pass through Limoges, the city with the largest concentration of services and facilities, and then the small villages where life is good, such as Oradour-sur-Vayres, Saint-Martin-de- Jussac, Saint-Priest-sous-Aixe, Aixe-sur-Vienne and Saint-Hilaire-les-Places. You can cycle this loop at your own pace, in sections, stages or all at once, depending on your mood and your cycling skills.

With no commitment, no fixed vegetables, you order what you like, when you like.. Put together your basket on the website and collect it directly from the farm or from one of the many relay points (Landouge, Limoges center, Isle, Bosmie l'Aiguille, Nexon). You can also find Les Légumes de Rémi at the weekly market in Nexon on Friday mornings, and at the Marché des Producteurs de Pays in Solignac every other Friday evening in summer.

The Romanesque church of Saint-Hilaire was built in the 11th and 12th centuries in the shape of a Latin cross. It is the only domed rural Romanesque church in the département. The barrel-vaulted choir is richly decorated with frescoes, the oldest dating from the late 11th century. Desecrated in 1936 and abandoned until the 1980s, it underwent a major restoration thanks to patronage, and was listed as a Monument Historique in 1973. Its eight bays have been fitted with contemporary stained-glass windows by local painter and enameller Léa Sham's. To continue financing the restoration of this remarkable edifice, concerts and exhibitions are regularly organized by the Patrimoines et Cultures association, which now brings this majestic site to life.

The Etang de la Lande is the town of Nexon's lake. In season, it is used by fishermen, but swimming is prohibited. The setting is pleasant: a fine sandy beach, large lawns and a beautiful small forest offering the opportunity for refreshing walks in the undergrowth during the summer. There are also a number of children's games and picnic tables. Enough to spend a pleasant, relaxing day! A campsite on its banks welcomes tourists.

Witness to a history of nearly 700 years, the castle of Lastours is a site restored and enhanced thanks to the volunteers of the Association de Sauvegarde du Patrimoine et de l'Environnement en Limousin. As soon as the fine weather returns, the castle reopens its doors to welcome you, both children and adults. It is a real trip back in time that you will experience with surprise and pleasure to the sound of medieval music and songs, by meeting the knights and damsels of the castle. Adventure is ahead !

At the bend of a long driveway, discover the park's chapel, built in the 19th century and still owned by the Gay de Nexon family. Adrienne Chanel, aunt of the famous Coco Chanel, is buried here.

A flamboyant property with a rich history and evidence of its equestrian past, the Domaine de Nexon was built in the 17th century. It remained the property of the same family until 1983, when the local council acquired it. The features that are still present today bear witness to the existence of the stud farm, which was created in the 16th century by the owners. The park and the surroundings of the castle are freely accessible all year round.
