Au détour d'une grande allée, découvrez la chapelle du parc édifiée au XIXe siècle et appartenant toujours à la famille Gay de Nexon. C’est ici que repose plusieurs membres de la famille Gay de Nexon, dont le gentleman rider Maurice de Nexon et sa compagne Adrienne Chanel, tante de la célèbre « Coco Chanel ».

Joli hameau fleuri. L'église romane de Saint-Hilaire est un édifice des XIe et XIIe siècles en forme de croix latine. Ses huit baies ont été dotées de vitraux contemporains réalisés par l'artiste peintre et émailleuse locale, Léa Sham's.

A flamboyant site with a rich history and traces of its equestrian past, the Domaine de Nexon was built in the 17th century. It remained the property of the family of the same name until 1983, when it was acquired by the municipality. The elements still present today bear witness to the existence of the stud farm, created in the 16th century by the owners. The park and castle grounds are open to visitors all year round. The Etang de la Lande is the town of Nexon's lake. In season, it is used by fishermen, but swimming is prohibited. The setting is pleasant: a fine sandy beach, large lawns and a beautiful small forest offering the opportunity for refreshing walks in the undergrowth during the summer. There are also a number of children's games and picnic tables. Enough to spend a pleasant, relaxing day! A campsite on its banks welcomes tourists.

This 37-hectare site was created in 1968. Today, the site has been awarded the "Pavillon Bleu" label, and includes the lake, the "étang du coucou" (cuckoo pond) and a variety of activities.
