Several remarkable hamlets dot this itinerary! The former Chavard dairy, created in the early 20th century, is now a residence for artists.

This circuit will make you discover the famous legend of the "Source aux Yeux", a spring which a farmer used to cure one of his cattle who had sick eyes. You will walk along beautiful paths and will be able to contemplate very beautiful points of view on the valley of the Ozon. The site of the water level is a place of relaxation decorated with an arboretum.

This long walk will take you past magnificent mills, and you'll be able to take a picnic break on the tables of the Musée acadien! After this long walk, you can relax by the pond and take a tour of the arboretum.

If you love hilly roads, you're in for a treat! You'll discover a 12th-century church, the Château de la Gabillière and magnificent rolling, wooded landscapes overlooking the sumptuous Ozon valley.

This loop is part of a set of 12 loops called "De Grottes en Châteaux" and located in the area of Nalliers, La Bussière and Saint Pierre de Maillé.

You'll walk along part of the old railway line between Pleumartin and Yzeures-sur-Creuse, and discover a number of calvaries. Starting point: On the square in front of the town hall 86450 Pleumartin

Discover this famous tourist site with this bike loop! This circuit will guide you along the traces of the famous battle of Poitiers in 732, where you can stop for a picnic. Between fields and woods, you'll come to Archigny, land of the Acadians. Discover the Acadian church at "Cenan", then follow the Acadian Line, a network of 58 farms built at the instigation of the Marquis de Pérusse des Cars. After a small wood and fields, you come to the village of Bellefonds, continue towards La Chapelle-Moulière and wind your way along the road surrounded by pretty houses to Bonneuil-Matours, where Maurice Fombeure, French writer and poet, is said to have spent his childhood.

Beautiful built heritage awaits you on the Scandiberique route (EV3) as it winds its way along the Vienne River, through the middle of fields. From the church in Vouneuil-sur-Vienne, head into the magnificent woods of Chitré and past the Tour-Fortesse de Monthoiron, a defensive tower built under François 1er. A magnificent panorama over the heights of the village and its beautiful church takes you along a winding, hilly road to Chenevelles. Through pretty woods, a winding descent on a picturesque road. The pretty hamlets of La Garde, Doussineau and Biard take you past the Bois de la Foye. Beautiful views over the Vienne Valley round off this walk.

Just east of Poitiers, the medieval town of Chauvigny is well worth a visit. How about a trip on a velorail? Whether you're a couple, a family or a group of friends, set off for 17 km or half that (round trip), 1 to 2 hours aboard an unusual machine that travels along the old railroad line, once used to transport the beautiful stones from the quarries of the Chauvigny region. You'll pedal through rolling bocage, discovering the region's heritage with the help of a roadmap, and cross bridges, footbridges and viaducts, including one offering an impressive view of the castles and collegiate church of Saint-Pierre de Chauvigny. In July and August, opt for the Crépusculaires, at sunset, or the Dîner du Viaduc, for a meal in an exceptional setting above the Vienne river.

Founded around 1117 in a solitary valley near Archigny by the hermit Isembaud, in memory of his brother Pierre de l'Etoile, founder and first abbot of Fontgombault (Indre), the Abbey de l'Etoile joined the Cîteaux order in 1145, following in the footsteps of Pontigny (Yonne). It was built according to the typical plan of 12th-century Cistercian monasteries, and even today l'Etoile is one of the most representative architectural ensembles of its kind in central-western France, despite a number of alterations in the 15th and 17th centuries.

The Acadian line is made up of 58 houses built in 1773 to accommodate Acadian families expelled from Canada. Thirty-eight of these houses, of a very particular type (built in adobe or in bousillis) still exist. When the Acadians arrived in Archigny, the so-called Acadian farm no. 6 was allocated in 1774 to the couple Pierre Faulcon (from Archigny) and Marguerite-Blanche Guillot (Acadian). They were still the owners in 1793. It is located at "la Croix-de-Justice" in Archigny. In 1995, the owner was Georges Tardy. A barn was added to the original farmhouse in the 19th century. The farmhouse was falling into disrepair and, in 2000, the Association des Cousins Acadiens du Poitou acquired it and put together a restoration project. Unable to pay for the work, as the compensation was insufficient, the farm was sold to the commune in 2002, which was able to benefit from larger grants. The inauguration took place on June 25, 2005, in the presence of the regional prefect and many other personalities. Today, the Acadian farmhouse is open to the public.
