This magnificent little medieval village, listed as a "Petite cité de caractère", nestles in the Gijou valley in the Monts de Lacaune. Don't miss out on a guided tour of the castle in summer, or a group visit all year round by prior arrangement. On the way to Lacaze, we also recommend a short diversions to the "forgotten" hamlet of Camalière and the fortified chapel of St Jean del Frech. There is also a waterfall at St Michel de Léon.

Do you want to become a knight of Lacaze? We suggest you play a little game to discover the village and the castle. Don't forget to ask for your equipment, which will be lent to you free of charge. To show the lord of Lacaze that you can do it, you need to prove your observational skills. To do this, pick up the map of the tour you'll be doing at the castle reception desk. Put on your equipment (shield, sword and knight's chasuble) and follow the map as you make your way around the castle through the narrow streets of the village. Remember, you'll be asked a number of questions to sharpen your observational skills, so take a good look around you and take note of the answers. These answers will give you a password. Give it to the reception desk and you'll be given your knight's diploma.

Our eco-friendly campsite offers a lovely swimming pool and shaded pitches right on the riverbank, with mobile homes, canvas bungalows, unique accommodations, and numerous pitches for motorhomes, caravans, and tents. We also have accommodations specifically designed for hikers and cyclists. For nature lovers, those who appreciate green spaces and birdsong in a bucolic setting overlooking the river, we offer cozy, nature-inspired accommodations with a warm, woody feel. Our restaurant, bar, snack bar, and ice cream parlor, "La Guinguette au bord de l'eau" (The Riverside Café), are open 7 days a week.
