On the edge of the Grande Champagne vineyards, the 1st growth of cognac, the village of Bouteville radiates between vineyards and valleys. Its castle dominates the valley from its rocky promontory, as does its Romanesque church: both look down on history.
A hiking trail complying with the requirements of the Plan Départemental des Itinéraires de Promenade et de Randonnée, proposed by Grand Cognac and the commune of Bouteville.
