The Cirque de la Glère via the Malaplate chasm.
Leave your vehicle at the Joueou forest house on the Hospice de France road.

Detailed stages
1 - A sign indicates the start of the trail, which is above the road and enters the fairly dense forest.
2 - The slope becomes steeper but remains acceptable.
A few metres further on, cross a footbridge and return to the track, which then winds its way downhill.
3 - At the end of one of these, a trail branches off to the left with a sign.
Follow this path, which quickly becomes narrower.
Handrails are in place to help you cross the scree.
4 - At the bottom of the valley, continue along the path, following the Glère stream.
Cross the stream and the slope becomes steeper.
5 - A second bridge takes you back to the left bank. The path levels out. As you leave the forest, the Cirque de la Glère comes into view. Magnificent!
Return via the same route.
