A seriously mountainous route where you'll sweat from the elevation gain. But it's worth the effort, as you'll discover pretty valleys and pass through picturesque villages including Cazarilh-Laspènes, the balcony of Luchon.
This route is physically and technically challenging on some descents. You'll start with the hardest part, a steep climb to the Col de la Coume, the highest point of the route. This is followed by a series of descents until you return to Bagnères de Luchon.
