Face à l’église - hallekerque typique du XVIIe s. - engagez-vous vers la gauche sur la Popelier straete – « rue des Peupliers ». Après 30 m, prenez à gauche le Boeren weg – « chemin des fermiers ».  A l’extrémité de ce chemin tournez à droite sur le chemin dit Heuzel Straete – « rue du Verglas ».

Prenez à gauche la route goudronnée (West Houck straete : « rue du Coin de l’Ouest »). Continuez tout droit sur 500 m. Au carrefour suivant, engagez-vous sur le chemin des Pauvres. On aperçoit dans les arbres sur la droite, l’ancienne motte féodale de Grimberg - site classé du XIIe s. Au bout de ce chemin, empruntez à gauche sur 400 m la route de Booneghem.

A l’intersection, suivez à gauche la route de l’Aguénée. Après 1 km, au bas d’une pente, laissez sur la droite un chemin et allez tout droit le long de la Pauwer Straete. A l’intersection suivante, continuez à droite sur la route dite « Cuisine straete ». Après le passage sur la colline où se dressait le moulin Devulder, descendez sur le flanc sud.

En bas du chemin, suivez à gauche le chemin de Saint-Omer. 500 m plus loin, coupez une route et empruntez une passerelle. Longez le fossé puis tournez à gauche - chemin creux.
