In the footsteps of the Huguenots - 4-day hike

This section of the Savoyard itinerary follows the historic route of the Huguenot exile, passing through vineyards, Chambéry, Aix les Bains and Lac du Bourget.

This international itinerary follows the historic route of the Huguenot exile for over 1600 km. It begins at Poet Laval in the Drôme and crosses Switzerland to reach Germany. The Waldensians in the valleys of Italian Piedmont, who adhered to the Reformation, went into exile and followed the same routes.
