Between the Fort du Portalet and the Col du Somport, Urdos is the last village in the upper Aspe Valley before the Spanish border. The valley floor here is narrow, the slopes steep and wooded. Human activity was once organized around privileged places to establish agro-pastoral life: access to water and the weaknesses of the slope to be able to work the land. This short circuit visits the region of Bérat de Bas, on the riverbank in front of Urdos. A road winds through the pastures and the electric assistance of your MTB will help you go above the Gave d'Aspe. This will be followed by a mountain biking concentrate on narrow, rocky trails, switchbacks or downhill, where riding skills are necessary to master your bike. A little spice for a quick tour in a place steeped in history.
