This tank was recovered from the sea in 1970. The Duplex Drive Sherman (DD) is the most famous in a range of special tanks employed by the Allied forces. This jetty used to have a twin. But both jetties were destroyed at the beginning of the war by the Germans. The materials were mostly reused to build the fishermen’s pier in Luc-sur-mer.

The present church dates back to 1786. The previous church was located in the graveyard near the castle. The central alley in the graveyard corresponds to the outline of the first church. There are also old tombstones of former priests. As it had fallen into disrepair, it was destroyed by a fire and storm.
