Loop 4 ATB – Vaux-sur-Sûre

The route starts at the Office du Tourisme in Vaux-sur-Sûre (Vauxhall). It crosses the forest on a path running through coniferous and beech trees. Already here is the first viewpoint. The route ends at the pre-RAVeL and the Waffe forest where you can enjoy a view of Vaux-sur-Sûre and its surroundings. You will also pass through the villages of Rosière, Morhet, Sibret, Villeroux, Assenois, Hompré, Hollange, etc.

Note the old cemetery of Sibret, listed since 1950. The latter is relatively well preserved with its church Saint-Martin, a neoclassical building from 1884-1885, and its cemetery with exceptional graves.

The village of Hompré has some fine farmhouses (19th century) and the church Saint-Hubert (1903-1904) which has a neo-Gothic appearance with sandstone and limestone rubble under slate.

You can also enjoy a piece of paradise at the Ponds of the Strange (fishing and restaurant).
