Mountain Bike Trail Grand Kaori - Great Ferns Park

Discover the native species living in this park in the “Green Station” of Farino!The must-see Parc des Grandes Fougères covers more than 4,500 hectares of tropical rainforest with a rich, biodiverse ecosystem. The aim of the park is to protect this exceptional natural environment, which is home to many typical native flora and fauna. Here, the tree fern reigns supreme. Many New Caledonian birds can also been heard and seen if you keep your ears and eyes open, including imperial pigeons, kagus, green pigeons and New Caledonian warblers. Regular events, guided tours of medicinal plants, bird watching, sylvotherapy, hiking and horse riding are just some of the activities you can enjoy here. The famous Heart of Farino is located in the park, at the bend of a river that crosses this unique site. Situated at the crossroads of Farino, Moindou and Sarraméa, it contains a wealth of nature typical of this exciting and welcoming region.
