Discover the native species living in this park in the “Green Station” of Farino!
At the crossroads of Farino, Moindou and Sarraméa, the Great Ferns provincial park protects over four thousand five hundred hectares of dense tropical rainforest. Tree ferns reign here, and several Caledonian birds make themselves heard and seen for those who slow down: notou, cagou, green pigeon, Caledonian whistler. The well-known heart of Farino, drawn by a river along one of the trails, ranks among the highlights of the route. On site, you can combine hiking, birdwatching, guided medicinal plants tours and seasonal events scheduled through the year. Plan your visit from the park's official website.
