This glacial lake, whose emerald waters owe their name to the underwater vegetation, offers a breathtaking panorama of the Mont Blanc massif. Listed as a nature reserve, it is a haven of unspoilt beauty and tranquillity. Easily accessible, the site is ideal for a family stroll or a contemplative break. A path winds around the lake, overlooking it and allowing you to appreciate all its facets. Depending on the light and the season, the landscape changes and takes on unique colors. Lac Vert is also a place steeped in local legends, adding to the magic of the place. In order to preserve this fragile ecosystem, no swimming or water sports are permitted. It's a must-see for lovers of nature, photography and mountain serenity.

In the heart of a historic building, discover an interpretation center on mountain agriculture, its environment, its products and its know-how.Throughout the year, take the whole family to visit the Maison du Lieutenant, its permanent and temporary exhibitions, and discover the region through the many events and outings on offer. The permanent exhibition, "Mountain Farming, the Heart of the Territory", bridges the gap between the alpine culture of yesteryear, today's profession and tomorrow's challenges for mountain farming. The Maison du Lieutenant offers a unique scenographic tour designed for all ages. Discover its animated model of the territory, its edutainment space and modules, its multimedia content and its collection of antique objects. Temporary exhibition: "Plant Inspirations". As part of its new temporary theme of ethnobotany, the Maison du Lieutenant welcomes "Inspirations végétales - quand la nature nourrit la création". An exhibition based on the artistic approach of artist-designer Fanny Crochard, illustrating the link between the human and the plant in art. The Maison du Lieutenant is also a place for living and sharing. All year round, it offers a full and varied program of events, workshops and outings to help you (re)discover the richness of our region: the cultural heritage of the Alps, farms and mountain pastures, natural areas, the tastes and flavours of Mont Blanc, know-how, etc. Groups welcome all year round by reservation (fee payable).
