A picturesque lake formed after the Le Dérochoir landslide. It lies nestled in
a hollow at the foot of the Rochers des Fiz. Chalet-restaurant. Accessible by car.
Fishing is permitted in the lake (requires a fishing licence from Le Faucigny AAPPMA).
From the end of the hamlet of La Côte (parking lot) on the heights of the village of Servoz, follow the path that, through the forest, joins the one coming from the departmental road. It continues on the right to reach the Lac Vert.
It is interesting to go around the lake to better appreciate the site.
Suggestion: extend the hike to Plaine-Joux or le Châtelet for the panorama.
Another possible departure from the Vieux Servoz or the center of the village: count about 2 hours of ascent.
More information available at the Tourist Office or the High Mountain Office and in our trail guide.
