This route takes you along the valley of the Hinson. This small, quiet stream is a tributary of the Lhomme. The forest we cross is much loved by big game. In the undergrowth, among the oaks and hornbeams, you may have an unexpected encounter with a roe deer, a doe, a stag or even a wild boar.
This signposted walk is included on the Tellin walking map, available for €6.50 from the Office du Tourisme of Tellin and from the Maison du Tourisme de la Forêt de Saint-Hubert.

That beautiful timber-framed building with corpettes is said to date from the Spanish era (before 1590). The "Maison du Mayeur", an old inn and also meeting place of the court for several centuries, was the site of the sentencing to the stake of four alleged witches, the Jamin sisters, in 1618. The house has been protected since 1946.
